Stopped by Paco’s Mexican Restaurant and had their wet burrito — absolutely awesome! Great flavor, big portions, and super friendly service. Definitely hitting this spot again!

We stopped by on a Monday afternoon driving back from the mountains. We ordered a wet chicken burrito and fish tacos. On the chicken burrito, we substituted grilled chicken and it was nearly $4 for that. The grilled chicken was dry and the burrito needed more flavor.
Fish tacos tasted great. Salsa and chips are great too.
The portion is smaller than other places but a good size enough for lunch.
We were on the road so we skipped the good drinks. Lots of variety to choose from there.

Would’ve enjoyed a meal if it weren’t for a waitress who had an attitude and was aggressive over every small question me and my family asked, maybe she was having a bad day, but we weren’t going to take our time eating if the experience was going to be like that, wine color shirt, jeans greeted us by just saying “are we dining in our take out” while rolling her eyes, and we left with a “bye” and a small chuckle towards the chefs and shoulder shrug. People that work their are part of the experience that makes it amazing, some politeness would be nice

I had a very concerning experience here last night.
I am vegan and ordered veggie enchiladas no cheese and a bean & onion burrito no cheese. Both items were served with extra cheese, showing my order was not handled correctly.
While eating, I discovered a large piece of metal wire embedded in my food and nearly choked on it. This is extremely dangerous and could have caused serious injury.
The food was also excessively greasy and made me feel sick. I had to throw the entire order away.
Finding metal in prepared food is a serious safety issue. This experience was alarming, and I will not be returning.

Stopped by here for lunch with kids. The place is immaculate. Very clean, inviting, beautiful ethnic decor. Once we sat down, we got the complimentary house chips and salsa – all made fresh at this restaurants. And let me just say they were the best l’ve ever had, and l’ve had a lot of chips and salsa. We ordered the wet burrito and it was huge and an absolute deliciousness. 2 adults could barely finish it and it was so flavorful and beautiful. All in all, completely amazing dining experience for the whole family from start to finish! Great prices, too! Come in, you will leave full and HAPPY! 🙂

Great little lunch spot! The food came out very quickly and the staff was really nice! The atmosphere is really clean and colorful. There’s also lots of space. Everything is reasonably priced. They have several margarita flavors. They make an amazing quesadilla as well

Pacos is a restaurant in Pollock Pines and Placerville that serves GREAT Mexican food. We had a social event there a few weeks ago and Paco and staff did a fantastic job! They also do catering events! Would highly recommend them

Paco has the best Mexican food in Placerville. Hands-down. He also does a fantastic job catering. He caters our soccer teams festivities and he always goes above and beyond and everyone is left happy and well fed. The Carne Asada is our favorite and he always has extra limes.

Overall service was good wait wasn’t too long everything else was ok. However, I did expect more from a 20 dollar wet burrito. I got carne asada, the meat was dry like jerky and old. Not as juicy and full as other places. However it was filling with the addition of chips and salsa. It was just ok. You could get better quality for the price elsewhere.

Enjoyed a late lunch at Paco’s. Hubby devoured his wet el pastor burritos. I munched on a combo plate featuring a cheese enchilada and chile verde tamale. The enchilada sauce had a nice kick to it, and the beans were super creamy. Would visit again!
