I’m from SoCal and only in town for work for the next couple of months. I decided today that I want to try as many of the best local spots instead of any chain restaurants or fast food, so Hella Pie was my stop today after work. Unfortunately they were out of slices (arrived around 615, and they close at 7 so it’s understandable), so I ordered a small margherita pizza pie. To make things short, this pizza is amazing. I opened the box by my car, snapped a pic of this beautiful looking pie, and went in. The crust is very well done, a nice crispy bite underneath with a soft top that pairs well with melted mozzarella and their tasty house sauce. I always like to order a margherita or tomato pie from a new pizza spot because it doesn’t allow a pizzeria to hide behind toppings; they’re forced to lay it all out and be exposed. Well, this place definitely knows this game and exceeded my expectations. Delicious pizza, fun atmosphere if you’re grabbing a slice to eat in, and really nice employees. I’ll definitely be back for a slice of the Sicilian pizza as I explore the rest of 10th street.

I have been coming to Hella Pie Pizza for a long time, and the experience is always a positive one. The pizza is delicious (spice spice baby is my absolute fave!), the vibe is unmatched, and the owners are so friendly and welcoming. I especially love going when their daughter has her lemonade stand! Ive lived in Tracy all my life, and their business is an amazing addition to the downtown life. If you haven’t tried their pizza, you’re missing out!

I’ve been going to Hella Pie since 2020 and they are my FAVORITE place to go for pizza. The flavors are amazing, the crust is made perfectly, the vegan options are always a plus and inclusive, the staff are incredible, I wish they could open up another spot in Stockton but I’ll settle to traveling when I’m craving peak pizza lol 100/10 for sure! I have zero complaints brother.

I’ll drive 30 minutes from Modesto to get Hella Pie. This is best pizza you’ll find in the entire Central Valley and is arguably one of the best in the country. The owner Marcus has competed in PizzaExpo multiple times and makes a pie that literally competes on a world stage.
The toppings are thick cut and fresh, so they all make a statement no matter what you get. The crust is always pillowy soft inside with a crisp outside. Drizzle some of the house Hot Honey or Delta Dip to really make an experience out of it.
The team must be well taken care of, because I have never seen a miserable face behind the counter. The love for the craft really permeates into the pies. This is the kind of shop that really ties a community together. I would move to Tracy just so I could be closer to Hella Pie!

I always order from here, they are usually pretty good. We ordered a cheese pizza for my daughter and when the pizza was delivered, it was meat and pepperoni pizza. We don’t eat meat and I tried calling them to let them know but they were already closed by then so I threw it away and ordered a cheese pizza from another place.
My daughter waited more than 2 hours to finally eat.

Small Location with 1 couch 1 table and some chairs. Got The Nino Large $44. My pizza was cold cold when i got to it after 20 minutes but the flavor was there lots of toppings good house made ranch and salads.
