Nice little gem with great coffee. It was a blessing for us coffee drinkers to find this coffee shop walking distance from Ochner hospital. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We ended up going everyday while visiting the hospital.

We order this place for delivery a lot. The coffee is top notch and the food is tasty, my only complaint is the very light application of toppings to the bagel. I’ve gotten both the Nutella and the Cream Cheese, and whoever is applying the bagel topping is applying it thinly like butter rather than a proper bagel schmear. I will say when I request extra they do accommodate. Not worth a bad review I just always wonder who is making these bagels and if they even personally like bagels. Lol

Coffee and flavors are cheap. The staff was nice and polite and didn’t have any problem with them. I walked there because I read they have great reviews. I got a mocha latte and a London fog for my husband. I think they used chai tea something with those profiles. My coffee was horrible and left a nasty taste. I only took 2 drinks and I still have the bad taste in it. Others then Starbucks and Café Du Monde I haven’t found good quality coffee here.

Honestly, sandwich portions here are very, very small for the price. Not enough to fill you up or to justify the price. No sides included.
Food is tasty, it’s the portion size that’s the issue. Coffee and and pastries are comparable to other cafes.
Nice coffee shop to sit down, work, study and enjoy coffee but if you’re hungry grab lunch elsewhere.

Discovered a Gem. Please note the “…was a Roast Beef on Cibbata” photo. I’m in the middle of my Greek salad commenting on the dressing when “Google Review” hit me. Unfortunately, by that time my family’s review was ahead of me. That empty plate is their review! This visit was a “let’s stop here” moment and sometimes that just works out. It did today. We had Roast Beef on Cibbata, Greek Salad, and a Blueberry muffin. No coffee to comment on this visit. But, since we will go back, not to worry. Charming little restaurant with an atmosphere to match.

***Update **** Wanted to just updatemy post since i can’t give 10 . This place is just an awesomeplace to help start off your morning. The coffe is great, the breakfast is great and the atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant to be in. Awesome place for a study group, a small get together, some alone time, a small group or just a place to enjoy a vup of joe and sit outside. I always place my order by phone and they know my name!!!! Such wonderful and kind staff. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. Please try them out, you will not be disappointed. *****Amazing people and the coffee is great. Best to call in orders in the morning because they can be pretty busy. Have a points system for free items. Love this little gem. Highly recommend especially for a coffee date.

My favorite spot to drink coffee and hang! It’s a hidden gem that always exceeds expectations. The staff makes the best breakfast and lunch food – and the barista will individualize any drink you want. For real, the barista is the kindest and she will help you pick out your perfect drink. Friendly owners make the environment warm and pleasant. Support local small businesses!! They make the world a better place…skip Starbucks and get a fresh cup at Grounded.

Grounded Coffee Cafe is what an ideal coffee shop is. Staff with a true interest in the barista art, indoor and outdoor seating with a well-lit and bright with a slightly rustic indoor look. A diverse coffee menu that changes up its brew of the day with gorgeous pastries.
I went out on a limb and tried a cold brew as a first time visitor. That cold brew did not disappoint. Strong and bitter-free! I was shocked and elated that the sugar station has stevia for those of us who can’t use all of the other sugar. That made me want to cry with joy. Rarely, very rarely, will you find a coffee shop that has stevia!
While checking out I noticed this gorgeous almond croissant sprinkled with powdered sugar. I passed on it, but as I walked out, I couldn’t stop thinking of it and decided to go back and get it. The pastry has some sort of cream inside of it and was flaky and delicious!
Grounded Coffee Cafe was also extremely clean and very reasonably priced when looking for coffee.
I strongly recommend Grounded Coffee Cafe and will definitely return.
