We love it here! Great burgers! Great Food! We love Ron and Mark! The karaoke talent! The cool bar atmosphere you can go to family, date night, or just hang out for a drink. Nice patio too!

This is a good local haunt. The people are fun and the karaoke is great. The food is good and the drinks are good. The issues are I got water once and it tasted funny and now im scared. The service is usually slow and if you go for drinks later, you must go to the bar and they act like you’re inconveniencing them. They really need some nicer staff. The place looks like an old local bar inside. Seems clean, you can see the kitchen, it always looks clean. The bathrooms are tiny but again, very clean.

Steak was a cheap cut, over cooked, and definitely wasn’t a ribeye. They took $2 off of the bill for a nasty tasting steak. Drinks were $3 a couple of weeks ago. Go again, and they are 4.50. I went at the same time of day and same day of the week. Chairs are uncomfortable. Staff is nice and the place is nice to hang out at. I found a nicer spot to go to.

We visited as a large group from out of town – a university race team competing at nearby MSI. This stop was the best one of our week. Food was awesome, service for 30 of us was excellent; and we all sang karaoke for hours. Awesome steaks and great vibe. We will be bravo next year!! Thanks

This place could have new regular customers since my husband and I live not that far but the only thing they care about is their regular customers not getting new ones! My husband and I were sitting at a table for like 10 minutes while the table behind us got there about the same time as us got their drinks and food order and we didn’t even get as much as a glance! Might want give new customers as much attention as your regulars

Place was absolutely ridiculous and yes only cares about the regulars. I had a group of 6 and when it was me and my two other friends, it took forever for service and if u weren’t at the bar asking for them they wouldn’t even look at you. Our food took forever and people were getting there’s way before us that ordered and got there way after us. I had 2 drinks and I feel absolutely terrible after. They don’t know their pour game at all. Or how to make drinks. Absolutely do not recommend if u aren’t from the area or go there often.

We typically attend Taco Tuesday at local restaurants. Recently decided to give The Cove a shot. The first couple Tuesdays we received good food and good service. But the next two or three visits the service was absolutely terrible. It appeared we were purposely ignored. Been walked by several times while Not even looking at our table. Other tables were quickly served. They’re not many tables to be served to begin with so there’s nothing to do with busyness. We always tip good in polite so it’s not that either. But, even if someone were rude or did it tip, servers should not treat customers unequally. I’d like to see more professionalism out of the service. Which would include not giving a finger to the cook.. whether it’s sarcasm or not that’s not okay. The seating needs to be increased and the current tables need to be serviced so they’re not so wobbly. Music was not that great as far as sound quality goes. We do enjoy the food though That’s why we kept coming back the couple times hoping that the waitress just had a couple bad days or whatever. To be honest we miss the old Captain Chuck’s.
