Ist time visit merely out of curiosity and my love of hotdogs. I was very disappointed with the taste and quality. I got dogs with chilli, onion, mustard, mayo.
My first issue was that I expected to get beef franks but I immediately noticed the dogs tasted like Vienna, which I am not a fan of. I wish that was made clearer on menu or during purchase, maybe I over looked it.
My second issue was that the dogs seemed to be boiled instead of grilled :(. A 2 dog combo with a 20oz bottle of soda and a bag of chips cost about $8.
I loved the look of the place. It had a very retro vibe to it. The decor alone and staff would have been a reason for me to return, if I like Vienna dogs.
Bottonline: kids will love it here, staff is welcoming, place is clean and the chilli is good. They need to sell separately if they don’t already. If ur into vienna dogs, you’ll like this place.

Two hotdogs chili mustard and hot sauce.. bag of lays potato chips..Pepsi (prefer coke).. and piece of fudge pound cake can’t be beat anywhere. I have been going to Skins since the 70’s . I moved to the Atlanta area in 1998 and still go to Skins about one hour and twenty minutes away a 4 or 5 times a year. Still continues to be the best Hotdogs ❤️

Just finished the worst dining experience in a very long time. As i walked through the door and was headed to wash my hands The manager (Theresa) yelled to me from the kitchen area how many do you want? I have never eaten here so I had no idea what l was going to eat. I told her I had to wash my hands first. I am not sure why she was yelling to me when everyone else walked to the counter and placed their order like a normal restaurant would do. I did not feel very welcomed in this establishment and did not enjoy my meal at all. The other two ladies were nice but the tone was already set. I got the impression that she did not want me to use the bathroom if I was not ordering food, not sure that was the intended message but it was the message received. If that is the way they are supposed to interact with the customers then I guess I just don’t care for that environment.

The only reason people keep going here is because it used to be great. In the 90s they were the best hot dogs around. Be honest with yourself, these hot dogs are flavorless.

The food was so bad. I ordered four chili dogs. The hotdogs were cold. The chili did not taste good. Do not get the chili dogs. I also ordered cole slaw that I immediately spit back out…and I love coleslaw. I was very disappointed! Depot Dog in Central is much better and you get more for your money.

Menu is very limited. Hot dogs taste like they are boiled. Chili has no flavor. They will give you cold cheese on the side but they won’t put it on the bottom of the hot dog to melt. First time here and I can say I’m not impressed.

The experience a 5 star. Service was excellent and the store was clean. Gave 4 stars because the hot dog itself was soft and mushy, and ” ok” on flavor.(Am used to tough skins, Coney Island style dogs). Chili was good.
