Located within the Resort at Squaw Creek, (now called the Everline Resort & Spa) Cascades is where to go for breakfast every morning. The buffet is absolutely amazing. It’s actually one of the best breakfast buffets that I’ve ever seen. They even have a bloody mary bar, which is pretty unique. In any event, I highly recommend the breakfast here.

Basic hotel breakfast. Nothing outstanding, but nothing bad to say either. Kids enjoyed their pancakes, my wife and I had the omelets.
Definitely not allergy friendly, but they do have milk alternatives.
The staff is great.
The price is definitely more than the breakfast is worth.

Best breakfast buffet I’ve had!
They had so many options, and all of the food was great! I made sure I tried some of everything.
Sticky buns: Show stopper, a MUST HAVE. I had like 3 of these my first day there, and had no regrets! They’re warm and have just the right amount of cinnamon. I can’t even find the right words to describe this heavenly dish.
French toast: Perfectly cooked, another must try.
Waffles: Were a little cold and not crispy at all. I didn’t even finish the quarter piece I took.
Scrambled eggs: Great!
Bacon: Crispy, soft, you can have your pick!
Smoked salmon: It was really good the first day, but didn’t seem fresh the second time in.
Omelette bar: I don’t think its possible to go wrong with a build your own omelette place that has about 15 topping options!
Pasties: The cheese danish was good, buy my favorite was one that had a sweet filling and powdered sugar on the top. Probably had a hint of cinnamon too. I couldn’t stop having them.
Frittata: the usual.
Oatmeal: Tried to be healthy, so I had some of this, definitely made the right decision.
Strawberries: Some were fresh some weren’t, but I guess that always happens.

I was expecting standard Western fare for breakfast but they had dumplings and a congee station! Lots of food options and the bagel fixings were nothing to scoff at! Impressed at the presentation, options, and quality! This would be a great buffet even if it wasn’t at a remote resort.

This is about the worst Thanksgiving meal I’ve ever had. The $90++ buffet looks good on paper, but the quality of food was horrible. The turkey was dry, the beef over cooked, pasta was soggy and the oysters were very fishy. Everything tasted like it’s only seasoned with salt and no other flavors. When we’re about to leave, it took another 30 minutes to get the waiter the attention to get our check. Not many restaurants were open on Thanksgiving day in the area, I guess, but we would’ve prefered cup noodles over this outrageously overpriced buffet that left us so upsetting. Also, the seatings were so crowded we could barely get to buffet table, not to mention the air circulation was very bad.

My wife and I ate at Cascades every morning during our stay at Resort at Squaw Creek and had an amazing experience every time. The food was great and the servers Susan and Jonny were so welcoming and friendly. We are looking forward to our next visit, and will definitely eat there when we return.

Quality of the breakfast buffet was not the greatest, subpar and soggy. The amulets were fresh but very overall, very over priced.
