My nu-metal band “INE STINE” & I (the drummer.) Showed up @ 7pm to the open mic night. My girlfriend and I ordered the chicken wings that were on special [.50 cents per wing.] We got the buffalo/hot sauce flavored wings, and they were SUPERB!! Cooked to perfection and flavored just right! The service was extremely good! I didn’t have to wait..AT ALL! Given the circumstance of being extremely busy, our service was awesome/friendly and the staff went beyond the call, to promote our band and allowed an extension to perform 4 songs. I highly recommend the Snow Shoe pub & lounge for food, fun, music, as there is also pool tables, arcade games in the appropriate place in the back area of the lounge/pub. 5/5 STARS!

We had a great experience there! Food is perfectly prepared and flavored. Super hot chicken wing is banger spicy! They’re not joking. Burgers are perfect medium rare and not overdone. The staff is super friendly and service is great!

Great vibes here! We were in town for a wedding and were so glad we got a bite to eat here. The salt and vinegar wings were the bomb!! Definitely recommend those, we also got a ton of other apps and loved everything. They make the best long island iced teas and the staff had a great sense of humor and were patient for putting up with our group’s BS. They have some kind of club thing going on Friday nights. We didn’t stay but it seemed like there was a DJ.

In the evenings this is a pub first and a restaurant second, but it’s a warm, cozy environment and the food was great. Good draft beer selection, but don’t expect your server to know what’s on tap; it’s written on a board up by the bar. The poutine wasn’t the most authentic (waffle fries??) but was hearty and filling. The wings were very good, and I’m typically picky about wings. They do have various daily specials so don’t forget to check them out or ask your server. All in all, I’d be happy to eat here again.

There was a sign “Wait to be seated” so we waited.
The bartenders saw us enter. The server saw us waiting at door. Two other people walked in behind us and they went to tables or bar as they were meeting people there and there was a lot of seating available as we waited.
We would have waited a little longer but not one person acknowledged our presence.
Maybe it’s a local place only? Maybe they were short staffed? Doesn’t matter a wave of acknowledgment would have been appropriate. So we left and we won’t try to go back. Shame, the menus and pics looked good and the atmosphere was okay but you don’t just ignore people waiting at your door.
Glad we left we found a good alternative and their food was delicious.

Actually my favorite bar anywhere. Live music several nights a week. A place to dance. Always a trip with an interesting scene and lively crowd. This spot is almost always hopping and is not to be missed if you’re in the area. Worth the trip down from the mountain where there’s usually not much nightlife. This place is never dull. Even on a Wednesday there’s something happening (free pool and awesome 50 cent wings). Thank you Snowshoe for always being a hit for the last 15 years I’ve been coming to Jay and Montgomery.
