For a late night drunkn, light bite im familiar with Famiglia’s pizza and I think its good but even better in the heights(Washington Heights, NY) I tried this at the Resorts casino in Atlantic City, NJ. I ordered garlic knots with mozzarella cheese on top and marinara on the side and a sausage roll.

Just sad. Came here late at night as it was the only thing open and I kind if wish it wasn’t. Asked for two slices and a bottle of water, knowing that I had casino comps to cover it. I’m handed an empty cup, straw and lid. I go to the soda machine only to learn that its out of ice. Girl behind the counter gets me ice from the back. I return to the soda machine but there is ZERO options for water. I ask again. She offers me a blue PowerAide. I declined and explain that I can’t have sugar. She finally asks someone in charge if I can have the display bottle of water, they agree. Why is this a thing!? Why was it so hard to get water!? As far as the pizza, its mediocre at best. Theres a good reason these guys went out of business in NYC and just run shops in casinos and rest areas. Next time I’ll just order Domino’s (as a NY’er thats tough to say, but better than this experience)

Pizza was overly greasy without any distinct flavor. Garlic knots were very good. Seating was available at the time but only 9 tables available total. 8$ for one slice of pizza and 4 small knots was a little steep for what you get. The wall of fame is interesting.

I visited Famous Famiglia today to order pasta with meatballs today. It was probably the worst pasta dish I had ever gotten from a pizza place before. The pasta was well over cooked to the point is was a soggy mess in the dish. The meatballs lacked any taste at all and were water logged as well, presumably from the pasta that they shared the dish with. The sauce was runny and the dish was lacked any eye appeal because the noodles were so over cooked.
It is located right on the casino floor, so it is very loud there. I will say the man behind the counter was very nice and went out of his way to help me because the girl at the register appeared to be a new hire.

The food is good but the customer service and courtesy is a hot mess and not to mention the cleanliness !
First of all no one at the establishment wears gloves and no hair nets !
That’s just nasty, ! The cashiers and the people in the front don’t care about u having a happy experience. The chef does not wash their hands especially the pizza chef . He literally will cross contaminate everything without washing his hands or wearing gloves in between orders. The manager (the black guy ) is a mess and he is not professional. I told him about the chef not washing his hands and he gave me a bogus narcissistic excuse saying “he got a lot of pizzas “ instead of apologizing. The one girl with the long red pony tail hair swung on the uncooked pizza dough and he still put it in the oven without trashing it .
Just a horrible place I don’t care about the food tasting good that’s not enough for me . I like integrity and cleanliness !!!! Please purchase at your own risk .

I recently visited this Famous Famiglia and had a disappointing experience. While the pizza was affordable and tasted okay, the cleanliness and food safety standards were severely lacking.
We ordered two pizzas, and unfortunately, someone in my party found a metal object that looked like a washer or part of a bracelet in their pizza. My friend was lucky not to break a tooth, as he discovered the object while chewing.
This incident was gross and unacceptable. Given this experience, I cannot recommend this place. Skip this place for your own safety.

Horrible Experience!!! Purchase at your own risk!! We sat in the dinning area for about 30 minutes, watched them several times prepare pizza using meat, touching other things around the kitchen but never washed their hands! One of the ladies have a long reddish ponytail, I watched her hair fly across the uncooked pizza then the other staff member put the pizza in the oven! We couldn’t take it!!!! We went to say something about them washing their hands and the Manager said, he got a lot of pizzas, what do you expect! He doesn’t have time to go wash his hands!!!! And didn’t care about us mentioning that they needed to was their hands for the safety of all customers!!!! Sad!!!!!! FOOD SAFETY FIRST OVER ORDERS!!!!!!!!! NO cross contamination!!

The new women manager Gia really fantastic and so sweet! Order came out a wrong the first time she immediately apologized and went a remade the order without hesitation and even gave me a fountain drink for the mess up. Food was great too! highly recommend the Alfredo and side salad!
