Wonderful! You don’t expect a restaurant in a shopping mall to be this good. I’m sitting outside and before the appetizer I ordered arrived, I was served crusty, warm homemade bread with delicious oil infused with large pieces of garlic. Delicious. The vegetarian appetizer was beautifully presented and also delicious. A polite Italian waiter was very attentive. The entire experience was unexpected and much appreciated by this tired shopper. I will definitely come back here to order a full meal!!

Love this little gem in the Miramar Outlets.
It’s family owned with food made from scratch. Today I had the excellent Grilled Arugula Salad with warm bread and garlic olive oil followed by wonderful grapa.
Next time I’ll have the homemade Tiramisu
Made at the table. Try it , you’ll like it

A taste of Italy for sure! As other reviewers have mentioned already, this is authentic Italian, a family run restaurant. Stephano, the owner was very friendly and engaging. He and his staff were attentive to our needs. As for the food… egg pasta made fresh, our entrees…meatballs and spaghetti, and lasagna which was outstanding. Tiramisu is prepared and presented differently with the right level of sweetness and mocha coffee taste. Capped the night off with a cappuccino.

Stopped to charge the Tesla and walked over to the mall for lunch. Stumbled on to Caffe Da Michele, and figured “what the hell” “let’s try it” We walked in at Noon and greeted quickly and seated. I walked in expecting a taste of Italy, and what I got was a taste of “meh.” The decor was cute, like a Pinterest board come to life, but the food? Not so much.

It’s a cute little corner Resturant checker table cloth with a bottle of red on every table. Now for the culinary experience. “Yes I know” it’s a strip mall what would you expect” Went with the house Cabernet $11 got what I paid for a warm glass with little flavor. For the good news The warm bread was the real MVP – it was like a flavor bomb just waiting to blow my taste buds away (in a good way) they brought out warm roasted bread in an excellent olive oil and herb with added slices of garlic. This was the best part of the meal.

One of the most used words is either “world famous, or Grandma’s” so I went with Grandma’s angus beef meatballs served over fresh pasta….. But then came the “Grandma’s” angus beef meatballs, and I was like, “Grandma, honey, these need some spice in their life.” No way this can be grandma’s recipe…. The meatballs had no spice and little flavor. Soft and nearly browned. The tomato sauce was also flavorless and felt as if they opens a can and not made fresh at all. Sorry to say this but I’ve had better sauce out of a jar bought at Publix. The pasta was cooked perfectly but also needs flavoring… maybe for salt and oil when cooking.

My wife ordered a Margherita Pizza, they need to improve the baking of the crust. To soft should be more crisp and slightly burnt edges. Unfortunately the food was not at the same level as the service

Service was friendly, but the food was a strip mall-sized disappointment.

Jean, Shawn, and Maria are so full of it. I have been here multiple times over the last few months and have only experienced phenomenal food and service. At this point I’ve sampled a majority of the pasta dishes and a few appetizers and each has been good to great with absolutely no complaints. The pasta and bread are homemade and so obviously not store bought or canned (a ridiculous claim by Jean). I will continue to dine here time and time again, most definitely the best Italian cuisine in Southwest Florida.

Homemade food, great staff and cozy ambiance. This was the most authentic Italian experience I’ve had in the US in a long time. Will be back!

1 month later:

Went again – spouse had the Lasagna (I tried two bites, great texture and flavor) and I ordered Carbonara (pasta was thick and came out undercooked, not al dente, twice. Couldn’t eat it at all and they did not remove the carbonara from the bill). This time wasn’t a great experience compared to the first since I didn’t get to eat my dish but I will come out again. Staying away from the carbonara, of course.

Today I went to this restaurant with my wife. They claim to be Italian, but honestly it feels like anything except Italian.

I ordered a pizza, which at least was edible, but my wife ordered a lasagna that was advertised as being made with homemade pasta and San Marzano tomatoes. Unfortunately, her lasagna was easily the worst Italian dish we’ve had in the USA.

We told the waitress it wasn’t properly cooked and that it wasn’t hot enough, and she said they could heat it up. But a lasagna that took around 20 minutes to come out should already be hot. The waitress only responded by saying there was nothing wrong with their oven and that the lasagna was served at the “right temperature.”

My wife took one bite and we returned the dish, but they still charged us the full amount anyway.

If you have the option to eat somewhere else, I honestly recommend skipping this place.

Loved. Cute little Italian bistro. Great food, great service. We liked the atmosphere, I had to give 4 stars because they don’t have a bathroom in the restaurant. He told us the close one was being worked on so we had to go down a ways to another mall bathroom. The mall had the bathrooms locked!! My friend had to go to another restroom in a restaurant at the end. This
Was a problem that night, hopefully only a one time thing. So beware and ask ahead of time if your worried about that. Don’t let it discourage you from going. We thoroughly enjoyed otherwise. Our friends had recommended and we finally gave it a try. We will be back. Staff is awesome, along with food. We had cocktails and apps-had meatball appetizer, calamari, (no pics sorry) we did split our app and meal but had several drinks.

Cozy cafe, nice atmosphere. While the main course is being served, warm bread with fine olive oil and herbs will be brought to you. The portions of pasta that we ordered were very hearty and insanely delicious.

Pet friendly, which is very important to me. Our dogs were kindly offered to bring a bowl of water

The only thing I would like is that regular water was served with ice.

And everything is fine, I will be happy to come back here again
