Today was my first time dining here, and I will definitely be back! I ordered a paneer biryani and gulab jamun. I’ve been searching for gulab jamun for over ten years and finally found it here at this restaurant! My friend’s mother made even better ones than this restaurant’s, but it was still sweet and delicious. The paneer was creamy and the dish was very spicy. Definitely needed the yogurt to offset the spice!

When we moved to RTP area a few years ago, going to sangam felt like going to Tamilnadu. A guy who was very friendly always greeted customers like family and talked nicely in Tamil and the food had the typical Tamil cuisine taste.
This used to be a go to place for us and close to 5 stars. Over the last couple of years, the place has changed quite a bit. I haven’t seen the person who used to talk nicely to customers in Tamil there for a while. I have nothing against other cusines etc, we try all cuisines and enjoy them but sometimes you are looking for authentic Tamil or Andhra or Kerala or Karnataka cuisine and there are go to places for these. Sangam used to be one for Tamil food but is no longer the case. During a recent take out we found that the food quality has changed significantly. The Sambar was like bangalore Sambar (a bit sweet) and vada curry was so bad we had to waste it. Maybe they are facing competition from nearby BLR and trying to imitate ? Anyways disappointed with the change and the downgrade in quality of food.

Food is very oily always, and too salty or spicy sometimes. Today first time ever there is tomato even in Lemon rice! Please stop adding tomato in everything, or too much tomato in some too, it just spoils the taste of the dish itself!! Also improves packaging like plastic-free option would be great.

The menu of Sangam cafe is a comprehensive tour of India’s diverse regional cuisines. They have variety of regional style briyani with their speciality in seeragasamba..the chicken was tender…roti was soft and fluffy…their crispy samosas, bursting with a well-seasoned potato filling and a combo of Iranian chai makes a perfect evening snacks.. this restaurant is a must-visit for the quality of food and their wonderful service..

I visited Sangam Mart Cafe for breakfast, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Shortly after eating, I became unwell, which naturally raised concerns about the food’s quality and preparation standards. I hope the management takes these issues seriously and reviews their preparation practices.

Sangam Mart has been a saviour in Morrisville when it comes to affordable food options. I encourage the team to continue their affordable service as it helps the community grow.

Some of the improvements or features that could drive a six star review..

Portion options for curries 12/24/36 oz etc will make larger families choose the right size. roti/chapathi could be an add on instead of current combo. I sometime end up wasting the rotis.

We had 2 live (dosa and chat) stations for our pre-wedding event. Apart from that we had appetizers, dessert drinks and other food. All the food was a big hit, our diverse guests loved the taste, the service, and I liked the professionalism and cost.

Visiting this spot weekly from 2+ years. The customer service is something that other stores should learn from. Food is fresh everyday and the prices are very reasonable!
