Have not been impressed with previous visits. No menus or prices posted. Limited items available as they had sold almost everything. Very nice cashier/server though. Ordered a club sandwich with chips to go, no drink. Totalled over $10.00. Was thinking I got ripped off till I got a foam take out box stuffed with a three piece of bread sandwich with lots of meat, fresh lettuce and tomatoes. Enough sandwich and chips for me and wife together, but seeing as she wasn’t there I ate it all! Nice surprise!

I know it doesn’t make sense that I give this place a 4 star when I rated everything else 5 stars, but hear me out. The place was sort of at capacity, with only one waitress. She did her absolute best, was very cool under pressure, even had someone walk out because it took a long time for the food to come out and she still.maintained her cool and kept a smile on her face. That being said, it was very fresh and very good when it did come out. I think it should be posted somewhere that the wait is longer than average. We would come back, next time we won’t make plans for anything else for a couple hours that’s all. Beautiful building though, and like I said, the waitress and food was great.

Went for breakfast with my family. It was amazing and delicious! They have fantastic grits! I thought the prices were great personally. They were also doing a spaghetti dinner fundraiser for a local family that received 100% of the proceeds. I loved it, will be back

The fried shrimp was absolutely amazing. Had a wonderful flavor!! The cheese grits were good but the coke slaw was the best I have ever had!!! A must try for anyone going through the area!!!

Waitress was not very good, did not bring utensils to the table, after waitress brought food out she dropped off the check for us to pay and did not ask if we wanted anything else. Menu is way to basic and does not have Mac&Cheese or potatoes for side orders, no desert on menu and waitress did not offer either. When we were paying for our meals we notice cake slices on a table. This restaurant will not make it if there is not a variety and a waitress that comes around to check to see if you need anything. Sweet tea was spoiled and had to order soda because that was the only thing left that we were told. First experience and last with this restaurant 2 star was given being the food was hot, Cole slaw was in a puddle of juice.

For the portion of food you receive the price is way too much. The daily special is served on a styrofoam plate with plastic utensils. One piece of meat, two sides and a small piece of cornbread for 14.03 then there is also a charge of .44 for using your debit or credit card. I am not sure but I believe your drink is extra.. I gave two stars because the food had a great flavor. I could possibly justify the cost if it was buffet style. My husband and I can dine at Ole Times and Mama Junes for less than 30.00 and Western Sizzlin in Adel for less than that. There is much more of a variety and the staff are friendlier. Good luck to them but this was my first and last visit.
