Tried Firehouse subs for the first time at this location earlier today. Ordered a large club on a sub online and upon pick up was greeted immediately as the store was empty and handed my order. The order felt light in weight for a large sub, but since I hadn’t been there before I assumed maybe that’s just how it is at Firehouse. Upon getting home, opened my sub to add some hot sauce and there was no turkey or ham in the order, so it was just a couple slices of bacon, lettuce, onions, etc. Due to that the sub was unappealing and felt like I was eating a vegetable sandwich. I will not be ordering from this company again as there are plenty of other similar places I can go to like the Jersey Mike’s that’s closer to me anyway

Place is not being managed well, employees clearly not trained, not professional. Quality of food coming out is not up to standards or what expected. Went on Friday night with kids, was immediately asks if I was picking up a to go order a when I wasn’t they seemed annoyed by that. I get lots of food deliveries these days but I was with my kids, not a door dasher. Everytime I have been here the ordering process is for some reason more difficult than needs to be, and they ask what you want, but it doesn’t matter because they never make it that way (for example we asked for pickle spears on side specifically as kids really wanted them, but then were missing on tray. I ordered the French dip with fries. I was skeptical of the fries, but never got a chance to see if would be edible as the “machine” was broken. You drop potatoes in oil, not sure how you break that… my French dip looked nothing like the picture, smashed bread, little meat, it was soggy to start and meat was cold. Luckily the he Au Ju was hot and salty as sandwhich was flavorless, and way too small for a Medium (compared to other Medium sandwiches here). Took 30 minutes to get food even though not crowded. In lieu of fries (was told broken after I ordered), they offered another side. I asked about the soup if it was good, lady said “I don’t know haven’t tried it, I do t eat the food here”. How do you not know what the food tastes like that you are making and serving? How do you know it’s correct? You didn’t try everything as part of your training? Late was dirty, the one spout fountain machines are gross, people need to move away from those, it was messy and out of a lot of stuff, and dust pan thing was blocking access. Quality and care has declined dramatically, not surprised the are starting to close around me being run like this, it is a mockery of the servicemen you say you are honoring… do better. Not sure what cost difference I paid for fries but got chips, also we never got the dessert that comes with the kids meals. Further the only two employees were laughing loudly, chit chatting loudly (in Spanish but I know Spanish) which wasn’t professional with patrons trying to dine (or mostly just waiting for food to come out). Each time I have been here gets progressively worse, kids voted for Subway next time (face palm).

I recently had an incredible experience at Firehouse in Sterling, Virginia! From the moment I walked in, the General Manager, Khurram, went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. His exceptional hospitality made me feel right at home. The food was absolutely amazing – every bite was bursting with flavor! My entire experience was out of this world, and I can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend Firehouse to anyone looking for fantastic food and top-notch service!

They mistakenly gave my order to someone else and did not give me a refund and did not remake my order. There was no manager onsite and the person who was there was new and had no idea how to handle order problems. They told me to call customer service to report the issue.
Of course, both the customer service phone number and online portal were non-functional. Avoid this place at all costs.

First off, I have loved the food here in the past. However, after ordering takeout last night, the restaurant claims to have never received the order which was placed on the app. For what it’s worth, I believe them that it was never received. The problem is I showed them the confirmation of the order and they refused both to either make the order OR issue the refund. I spent $50 and it appears they are perfectly content with just stealing that. I spent an hour arguing over this and they told me I have to reach out to customer support since the store couldn’t do anything. Well I did that only to learn THAT THE INDIVIDUAL LOCATION IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ISSUING ANY REFUND. The last thing I want to do is file a lawsuit against a sandwich shop, but apparently if I don’t want to accept them stealing my money that’s what I have to do. Completely unacceptable. If you choose to order from here, I guess only go about it in person. Really wish I wasn’t required to give even one star, cause they really deserve negative stars.

Just walked out. Stood at counter for 5 minutes being ignored as staff was doing something in the back. Theres a reason all these places are closing up. Sad. They had good food. Stick a fork in this franchise – it’s done.

There is a single employee working here currently. He is telling everybody that subs are taking a minimum of 30 minutes to prepare. I ordered ahead online and my order was 20 minutes late. Please don’t have a location open if you’re only staffing it with a single person. Its not fair to anybody involved.

I highly not recommend coming to this place. One of the employee force my fiancé to get something he didn’t want meaning there’s a T-Mobile Tuesday and the promotion was free medium hook & ladder. Mind you i’m VEGETARIAN I do not eat any type of meat the only thing my fiancé told her to removed the turkey and ham she said they can’t do that because that’s not part of the promotion. He wasn’t trying to argue or fight with the girl but basically he was forced to take sub or there’s was no promotion. After getting out of work (8+ hrs shift)this was my DINNER for the night…. I’m disappointed with this place and the service. My fiancé couldn’t get her name but this happen at January 23,2023 between 5:45 -5:55pm and she has blonde hair and Spanish looking.

Food was hot and fresh when I arrived. I messed up my order online but called shorty after I noticed my mistake and the manager fixed my mistake. The manager laughed with me and said no worries it happens all the time (this kind action made me feel better). As soon as I walked in they greeted me and were friendly. I can’t express the top notch service I received this evening and will definitely be coming back to the Sterling VA restaurant again and again. Also, the food was yummy and reasonably priced.

Don’t go here, the people working there don’t even know how to make their sandwiches. Every time I go there they always mess up my order. This last time I ordered a turkey bacon ranch with no mayo, no tomato. Not only did they not put ranch on the sandwich WHICH IS IN THE NAME OF THE SANDWICH but the worker for some reason put mustard on it when that sandwich doesn’t even come with mustard. Spend your money elsewhere that actually knows what they’re doing cause this place certainly doesn’t and I’m convinced they never will at this point.
