Our first time here and we are coming back! Our waitress was so great! I had an issue with my fries, and there was no problems fixing it! Every employee we came in contact with was professional and very inviting! I recommend everyone check it out!

First and last time I will eat at this establishment…. My mom is in a nursing home in Denver and when I was visiting today she mentioned she’d like to have some steak. So naturally Sagebrush was the closest place to get steak. The hostess greeted us right away and the server was awesome, however after 40 minutes I had to ask for my food and get it to go. Mind you we ordered sirloin tips, medium rare. The server was apologetic and I get it; I was in the business for 25 yrs. When I was able to open my Togo box and eat my food it tasted like cardboard. The tips are full of grizzle and they weren’t really tips, maybe tips of the tip. And my rolls were still doughy. And to top it off it cost me $35.00 for this garbage.

Ribeye steak and fried pickles were terrific. Pleasant staff. Booth seating has plenty of room and is well lit. Not a lot of beer options on tap.

The food was good. The portion was good. The service was horrible. As soon as we walked in, there was no one there to greet us. Stood around for a minute so we decided to seat our selves.There were only 2 tables in the establishment that were being occupied by customers so we had plenty of of tables to choose where To sit. The problem was that most all tables were not very clean. Crumbs and cup rings on tabletops while staff were standing around talking. When we got our coffees, we had to ask for cream then waited for the waitress to return and she never did so we asked another staff member to please bring us cream. Our waitress finally came saying sorry, “ I was talking to a friend customer that just came in that I haven’t seen in a long time” WHAT? This was seriously ridiculous. The service here is just plain horrible and I was embarrassed to have brought my friend to lunch there. Dirty, lackadaisical, slow and not a place that exudes professionalism. If you are the owner at the Denver Sagebrush and are wondering why your restaurant is failing, it’s because your manager is failing to run a tight ship.

My wife and I have been going there for years. We’ve always gotten good service and great food. The prices are as good as can be expected at any restaurant in this category. This isn’t McDonald’s after all. Apparently some other reviewers expect too much for the money these days.
The restaurant has always looked reasonably clean to me. No, it’s not hospital clean but few restaurants are.
Their sanitation rating is an A but the score could be higher. I’d like to see them improve that.

Staff was great. Appetizers were good. Food came out my steak was not only tough but had no taste to it, ordered loaded Mashed potatoes and did not get that. This business has the potential to be a great steakhouse but right now it sucks.

The busted umbrella, beer bottle, and broken table outside at 4:30 should have been a warning to us! We went in to see several uncleaned tables, food on the floor, and hardly anyone else there. Another person seated themself and walked into the kitchen for a second round of rolls…I’m guessing an employee or family member not working the shift. Our waitress was not concerned about refills or details in our order. When our food came after a fairly reasonable wait only my husband’s food was really good even with cold fries. I couldn’t eat my steak which tasted like old hamburger. My child’s steak was undercooked, my other son did seem to enjoy his burger. My boys went to the bathroom to find what appeared to be hastily mopped vomit. We will not be making this mistake again. I’ll be more carefully checking scores from now on…they don’t even deserve the 90 they have.

The food was good, but the orders were not correctly cooked/served, after waiting about an hour, from the time the orders were taken. We didn’t get appetizers that came with the meals. The food is overpriced and service is very lacking.
Let alone we waited over 30 minutes after being told 15-20 minute wait, and 1/3 were open. REALLY!?

Im actually sitting in the restaurant now. food is not great….service is not good at all. Waitress takes to long to take care of us. It’s nothing like the way it use to be. I’m sitting at the table with my sister and there is a roll on the floor under the table. There is no clue at how long it has been there. DON’T GO THERE!!!!!!! Let’s not even talk about the table clothes and the sauce cups. They are Styrofoam cups and table clothes are brown paper..wow

We typically love Sagebrush- Rolls are amazing and food is very good and fairly priced. However, I pulled my rating back because the service on this particular trip was terrible, my drink had to be sent back, mashed potatoes were cold (like refrigerator cold), and we couldn’t get the attention of a server to help for anything.
