This was our first time having a meal at Pollard 107 South. I was impressed with the variety on their menu and I had a chicken Philly cheesesteak that was absolutely delicious. The presentation of the sandwich with the shredded chicken and grilled vegetables was perfect. Our server was very friendly and attentive.

This was our first meal at Pollard 107 South. I got a chicken gyro that was excellent. My granddaughter wanted a lobster roll, but the item was not available due to price hikes. That seemed reasonable to me. I got a side dish of squash and zucchini. It was flavorful but unfortunately it was literally swimming in oil. I would have been grateful if they had drained off the oil. Our server was terrific. We will go back, but now I know to ask for minimal oil with the veggies.

This is a really good and tasty place to eat. We were seated right away and our server was very nice, helpful and professional.

The only reason I’m not rating them five stars is that it took 45 minutes to get our food, which is not anyone’s fault except maybe they were short staffed in the kitchen.

Our meals were hot and delicious and the happy hour drinks were very good and were a superb value.

Try this place out when you are around Roanoke.

Went here to celebrate my birthday. We sat at the bar. It was very loud inside. The staff was very polite and accommodating. The festive cocktails I got were jingle juice and a sugar cookie cocktail and both were phenomenal. The Mushroom burger was awesome, and the Mac and cheese was out of this world. I would definitely visit again. The only downside. Besides, the noise level was, it was a little pricey, and parking was hard to find. For someone out of town.

We had a party of 5 and set in the back seating section, away from the bar. We were all very pleased with our food, and our waitress was kind and informative.

We were a bit surprised how long it took to get our appetizers and beers. We ordered wine, and apparently they couldn’t find their wine opener. As well as beers, which we also had to wait for 10mins to receive? 3pm on a Saturday with the restaurant being half full, we did not complain but noticed between drinks and appetizers, they were running slow.

After we got our food, no complaints, everything was fresh and well prepared. I would def recommend the bacon jam burger with a side of jalepenños.

If you’re looking to relax, sit on the opposite side of the divider away from the bar. If you’d like a louder or more social atmosphere, grab a high top near the bar. Plus it seems that you get better service up there as well.

We plan to return during warmer weather and try out their open air patio area, which appears to offer bar service as well.

We plan to return and update this review if our experience changes.

*** have revisited a couple times. Atmosphere continues to impress. Live music on the patio on good weather weekends. Burgers & drinks @ the bar. Lobster rolls are an awesome appetizer option. Fresh and very enjoyable. We have ordered coconut ship now multiple times as an app and will likely continue to. One of our fav items on the menu.

~ Would love to see a local / grass fed beef option for burgers on the menu. There’s lots of burger options, I’ve only tried a couple, they were both up to par. I think a premium quality meat option would take it to the top ~

Atmosphere and service continue to improve since this establishment opened.

I had a great time at this restaurant, which features a nice mix of indoor and outdoor seating, a bar window, and a spacious patio. The atmosphere is fun, with a pool table, dart game, and a dog-friendly environment, making it a perfect spot to relax. We enjoyed a delicious meal with a double cheeseburger that had big, juicy patties and buffalo wings that were crisp and well-seasoned. Overall, it’s a fantastic place for good food and a lively, welcoming vibe. Great service overall.

Been there twice and won’t be back. First time was valentine’s day which I knew would be busy so I wasn’t upset about the wait and was seated rather quickly. Ordered the valentine’s day surf and turf special and was looking forward to enjoying the scallops and filet. I got them and both were overcooked, scallops were tough and bitter from being so charred, filet was dry and well done when I asked for medium rare. I didn’t complain since I figured they were overwhelmed and I understand mistakes happen.

The second time was about two weeks ago and I ordered the fish and chips. The fish was very watery and the batter was soggy like it had been sitting in a warmer. Fries were actually very good but the slaw was basically shredded cabbage in mayonnaise with water like it had been sitting in the cooler for some time.

Understand that I’m impartial and call it like I see it and actually give restaurants at least two tries to make sure it wasn’t just a bad day and such to be perfectly fair. I’ve eaten at many different places from casual dining to more upscale places and have had good and bad food from restaurants on each level. I hope that Pollard takes this as constructive criticism and not just bashing them and can make improvements becoming even better.

A nice place to chill out in Vinton..
Atmosphere – A contemporary, industrial resto bar is the vibe of the place. They offer an outdoor bar as well as a green patio. With a sip of cocktail, enjoy an outside area featuring couches and a fire pit.I believe they also have a venue where they perform live at night.

Service – Because it was the weekend, I believe the service was a little understaffed when we visited. The server made an effort to meet our needs and was really kind.

Food – The visual.aesthetic is stunning, but the taste is lacking, making the actual eating experience underwhelming. The grilled chicken is a bit tough to chew, my pasta is bland, and the wings are a little undercooked. But the nachos with beef were delicious.

So if you wanna chill one weekend night, this is a place where you can go
