This is a busy little breakfast place located on main Ave in Hackensack. I had the avocado toast with an egg and it was delicious. I also had an interesting tea called Organic African Nectar. Great spot for breakfast!

The bagels were incredibly fresh with that perfect chewy texture and great flavor. You can really taste the quality ingredients and care that goes into making them. The breakfast sandwich was perfectly assembled and delicious. Even though I didn’t visit the shop personally, the food spoke for itself – these are clearly made by people who know what they’re doing. I’m definitely planning to visit in person soon to try more from their menu. Thanks for the great food!

Found in the heart of Downtown Hackensack, BEC Bagels is a true gem of a bagelry. I found my bagels to be crisp outside, soft inside, and quite substantive. The bagels maintain their quality even when ordered in late afternoon (2:30pm), which for many bagelries is unusual. My one sandwich, a Taylor Ham, Egg and Cheese, was very substantial; the egg fluffy and large, three slices of Taylor, and the cheese complimentary. My coffee was quite good as well. The best part of my couple visits there turned out to be the young man behind the counter, who proved to be most pleasant, accommodating, and topmost, informative. Even though it was a busy time, he always kept a good demeanor, which in this type of business, is paramount. I look forward to coming back when I am in the area again.

Not even a hello, or how can I assist. After waiting several minutes, I engaged and requested my order which she just handed to me and walked off. Easy enough but service received was rude. Decent food though

I work every other Saturday at Schumacher Chevrolet in Clifton on Rt 46….I treat myself to a bagel with either Blueberry or Strawberry Cream Cheese. OMG ❣️ if you want a DELISH bagel & cream cheese, you HAVE TO come to BEC Bagel. They, stuff your bagel with any cream cheese you pick. The staff is very nice & friendly. So make your day start right & go.
