One of the better Mexican restaurants in town. We actually pass several Mexican restaurants to come to this one. The service has always been great and food quality is consistently high. Your order almost always comes out quick. If I had to complain about something I would say your order sometimes comes a little too quickly.

Visited this place on a weeknight and ordered the combination #8 (one enchilada, one tamale, rice and beans). Came with the complementary chips and salsa. Overall, the food was pretty decent, especially considering the price. Also ordered the Flan. Honestly, it could have been better – the bottom crust-like layer had a weird aroma that resembled garlic or onion or something.

This is the best Mexican food you can get this area. The Arturo special is to die for. Incredibly friendly staff, good prices, and large portions keep us coming back again and again. Love it! They get super busy but its for a reason. Even when its packed, I’ve never had to wait more than 10 minutes. We almost never have to wait, as there’s a lot of seating.

This is a very good Mexican restaurant in Knoxville in Turkey Creek. I had the cheese enchiladas and very pleased with the cheese taste, thickness, consistency, and smell. I was at another restaurant in Chattanooga and the cheese was horrible with to thick hard taste that almost chocks you. So I was very pleased to find this place while traveling. The drinks are great too but the best part is the food is reasonably priced compared to other restaurants. So, over all great price, food, driniks, and fast friendly service here. Give them a try you won’t be disappointed.

All around very good. Lots of food for good price. We ordered fajitas for two and filled up! Yet we still had over half the meat and toppings leftover. Our only complaint was that the seating was limited and tight. We had to sit shoulder to shoulder.

I went to El Mezcal 6 years ago and hadn’t gone back because my wife doesn’t like legit Mexican food. Well the Mrs. went out of town and I finally got a chance to go again. My three tacos were pretty big and delicious. The service was excellent, the restaurant was clean and the bathrooms were also clean. I will be going there more often and dragging the wife there.
