We decided to try this place after it had been open for about one month. I wish we would’ve known you could make reservations. Won’t make that mistake again!
We went on a Friday night. It took a while to find a parking spot and even though it was packed, we still only waited about 10 minutes for a table. Our waiter was amazing and attentive. Our food was hot and delicious. It was a great experience.

The steak was so tender and very delicious. The entire meal was wonderful and our server “Harley” was supper helping with all the variety on the menu. The environment is extremely friendly and they even have a line dance as entertainment. Excellent place to have lunch and hang out.

We came in on February 14th. l’ll go straight to the facts:
1. I’m breastfeeding. Asked for NA corona. Got the one with alcohol. Only realized that when I was drinking it and checked the bottle. Server didn’t even bother to say sorry. That’s a HUGE deal just an fyi
2. The steak you see is my husband’s order of “well” cooked steak..
3. My burger asked at “well” was brought to me as rare as well. I asked to fix it as I’m again – breast feeding and don’t want to just risk it. They brought back a brand new burger. I cut it- it’s rare again lol I asked again to just cook up the patty… third time was the charm and it came out right …. If this only was a steakhouse lol
4. The server… on a simple causal “how are you, name?” She went “oh so tired. I’m working a double, and it’s Valentine’s Day, can’t wait to be done…..”
We had to ask multiple times to get the drinks. She forgot the butter… was nowhere to be found when we had issues with food. and as I mentioned above – we got no sorry, no nothing.
Overall very bad experience. It’s laughable. That’s what we do every time we recall our visit and call it a steakhouse

It was a very busy lunch on the first Monday after Thanksgiving. It took about 15 minutes to find parking and another 20 minutes in line before we were seated. We ordered the 16 oz. ribeye steak with fries and the combo appetizer. The steak was cooked perfectly, though both the fries and the steak were a bit too salty for my taste. Our server, Mel, was very friendly. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience, and I will definitely return.

I couldn’t snag a reservation for dine-in tonight, but I wasn’t about to let that stop me from getting my Texas Roadhouse fix! I decided to try their takeout instead, and honestly, it was fantastic.
The pickup process was seamless—the To-Go window area is clearly marked and super convenient. Even just grabbing the food, you get that friendly Texas Roadhouse vibe.
As for the food itself—it traveled surprisingly well! The steak was cooked perfectly to my liking (which can be hit or miss with takeout, but they nailed it). The mashed potatoes were creamy and comforting as always, and the Caesar salad was fresh and crisp. It’s great to know that when the wait times are crazy or reservations are booked up, the takeout option is a solid backup that doesn’t sacrifice quality. And of course their famous bread and sweet butter spread is to die for.
Definite 5 stars for saving dinner tonight! Highly recommend the to-go option if you can’t get a table.

We had an excellent experience at this new location! In short— the food and service are excellent, very affordable and yummy. Joined the waitlist on the app ahead of time and waited a very short time once we arrived at the restaurant. Every single employee had a smile on their face and looked like they were enjoying themselves even through all the chaos of dinner rush. Our server, Izzy, was super sweet and always made sure we were taken care of. Staff was super quick to run drinks from the bar, it was very surprising to get drinks so fast with how busy it was! Food was super yummy and my one single complaint from the entire evening was that the Mac and cheese is grainy and just not worth the 99¢ up charge. Prime rib was great, the au jus it comes with is delicious. The chili surprised me the most, I was not expecting to enjoy it as much as I did. All around we left very satiated and pleased. Will definitely be returning!

We checked out the new Texas Roadhouse in Leander. Wow. It was packed. We called ahead because we had a large party. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. We didn’t wait to long for the tables to be ready. Unfortunately they don’t have tables for 11 people. They are extending a booth with a leaf and chairs, but that wasn’t big enough either. We were split up across the isle. A bit weird for a bday party. Couldn’t talk really with the folks across. Well, nevertheless, the waitresses were very nice, in a good mood and by the end a assistant manager showed up to ask if everything was OK. The waitresses did that in between and made sure we had what we needed. The rolls are just so good with the cinnamon butter. My father in law had to skip because he’s diabetic. Maybe a option for that would be great. My futur son in law had to skip too because of celiac. No rolls for him. Gluten-free option? The food came out quickly. First the salads and soon after the entree (what actually means entrance and should not be called the main). Anyway, nobody had anything to complain about. The meats were cooked spot on, steaks, ribs, shrimp. The sides were decent. Don’t get me wrong. There is nothing bad about it, but nothing great either. The sides and the Peppercorn sauce seemd a bit heavy on salt and spices. Almost over seasoned and that is what others also reported from the group. You can always put more salt on your food at the table, but you can’t unsalted it. The seasoned rice my food came with, even I ordered different sides is really unnecessary. It wasn’t good. One other person of the party said the same. She ordered different sides and it came with rice anyway. We both didn’t eat it. I liked the upbeat atmosphere but it was all together a bit on the loud side. But I guess that is what you get when you build a restaurant the way they did to put in as many tables as humanly possible. No saddle for the bday guy but a piece of strawberry cheese cake. Oh, and we got 1 bag of peanuts for 11 people. The meat prices are really decent and we liked that. So, overall not bad, but not good either. We will continue to go to Longhorn Steakhouse which is so much better and not as cramped.

Texas Roadhouse continues to set a remarkably high standard in the casual steakhouse category, often surpassing expectations when stacked against far pricier upscale establishments.
What truly distinguishes the chain is its unwavering consistency across locations—service remains attentive and friendly, the lively yet comfortable atmosphere (complete with that signature peanut-shell-strewn floor and country flair) feels reliably welcoming, and the food quality holds steady visit after visit.
The steaks stand out as the main event. Generous portions arrive perfectly cooked, with the ribeye particularly shining: rich marbling delivers robust beef flavor, a well-seared crust adds appealing char, and the interior stays juicy and tender when ordered to perfection (medium-rare or otherwise). In a group of six, including kids who shared from adult plates, everyone found the servings satisfying and ample—no one left hungry.
While high-end steakhouses command premium prices for dry-aged cuts and refined ambiance, Texas Roadhouse proves that exceptional steak doesn’t require a luxury bill. The value here is outstanding, and the execution rivals (and in many cases exceeds) what you’d encounter at more expensive venues, especially for a crave-worthy ribeye.
We’ll undoubtedly return the next time that classic steak craving strikes—Texas Roadhouse remains a dependable go-to for a great, no-fuss steak experience. Highly recommended.
