Read the reviews on Google and decided to come to the Blue Pike Grille. The entryway is not clearly marked. Confusing to know where to enter. No sign saying to wait to be seated or to seat yourself. A waitress soon came over (as I’m sure we looked confused!) and guided us towards a good seat. Beautiful view of the marina and we got there in time to see the beautiful sunset over Lake Erie. Definitely the highlight of our visit. We ordered our meals, then waited 40 minutes for it to arrive. I ordered the Herb Roasted Chicken that was supposed to come with Seasoned Smashed New Potatoes and Seasonal Grilled Veggies. My chicken was tasteless and rubbery. The potatoes turned out to be one roasted golden potato (it was wonderful!) The veggies were way overcooked, chopped tiny, and were seasoned with all the salt available in North East, PA. No joke. My husband said his Sirloin Steak meal was good, just a tiny portion.
We were still hungry after this meal – so we went to a local pizza place and ordered food there. We still don’t understand how the Blue Pike grill had a 4.5 rating.

My wife and I took a motorcycle ride to check out North East’s newest restaurant. The menu was very good. I had the Cardiologist Carnivore sandwich. It was loaded as the name suggests and, although that made it a bit hard to eat as a sandwich, it was very tasty. The view from the dining room was overlooking the marina on Lake Erie. The deck had plenty of seating as well. We’ll be back.

Best spot in Lake Erie, bar none. Presque isle cannot compete. The view of the sunset will ease your soul. It is a hidden gem. Prices are very reasonable but I suspect once they are more fully established and any and all renovations are complete they might sadly increase their prices.
Crab cake was delicious. The steak and shrimp skewers were nicely done but the texture of both was odd. I’m guessing the steak was soaking in a tenderizer for a good long while. Aside from the it was still tasty. Second night we had the chicken wings. They were nice and meaty with an excellent smoke flavor but again here I suspect they were soaked in a brine or the wings were injected with the saline solution from the producer. Those solutions always give meat a very odd texture. Outside of that the taste was excellent. The seasonal vegetables were sauteed summer squashes and onion. The crab cake with seasinal vegetables and the dill Cole slaw, were my absolute favorite with a reasonable price tag of $20. It was these that brought us back for a second time.
The waitresses were incredibly sweet and attentive. The owner is lucky to have them!

The food is excellent! I have been here a couple of times. Salad is fresh. Seasoned French fries are truly spectacular. Walleye and perch are cooked expertly.
Bring your own wine.
Watched the sunset last night with some cloud cover–breathtaking.
Service is efficient and friendly.
Support this beautiful locally owned business.

We went for lunch and were impressed by the food and the location. The Philly Steak sandwich was huge and excellent! The fried fish sandwich was very large and tasty. The seasoned fries (seasoned with Old Bay) were tasty and crisp. The veiw of Lake Erie was amazing. Our server was quick, professional and attentive. An outstanding meal at a very resonable cost!

We tried Blue Pike for dinner. Loved the location when it was Noosa. Unfortunately, there were only 5 tables taken and it took over an hour to get our food. When we did, some was cold. The macaroni and cheese was just water under some noodles with a sprinkle of cheese on top. The fish sandwiches had good flavor. The other sandwich was cold. Our other diner had loaded fries which was a very small plate of food, despite it being an appetizer which is often expected as a shared item. There were 2 servers to 5 tables; several were left with dirty dishes most of the time we were there- they never cleaned or cleared. We had four meals for $72, before tip.

I would love to see them turn this around. The location is beautiful, especially on a summer night. Our waitress was also very friendly. She mentioned they only had one person cooking.

This place has potential, but our first visit left a lot to be desired.

When we arrived, there was some initial confusion—there was no hostess or signage, so we weren’t sure if we should seat ourselves. Eventually, a server coming out from the kitchen noticed us and helped out, but clearer direction upon entering would be helpful.

When it came time to order, I asked for a burger, only to be told they were out. The server asked if I wanted to see the menu again, and I chose the Philly steak. A few minutes later, they returned again to say that was also unavailable, so I settled on the pork tacos. By this point, it felt like most of the menu was unavailable, which was frustrating.

The real kicker came when, about 10 minutes later, a server called out across the outdoor seating to another staff member that burgers were available again. I would have happily waited the extra time if I had known, as that was my first choice.

When the food finally arrived—about 45 minutes after ordering—it was okay, but underwhelming for the price. The pork tacos were decent, but they seemed like pulled pork with grilled onions and a strip of sour cream, which felt a bit bare for the cost.

We want to see this place succeed, but better communication, menu accuracy, and service speed would go a long way toward making the experience enjoyable.

Really amazing staff and food, I got a fish platter there but it contained a lot of bone. Some of the local caught fish do contain quite a bit of bones but that’s my only gripe! My spouse and I feel like they should have cut a little bit off the bill but it says on the menu that they don’t do that. Overall really great service and all the garnishes look amazing and tasted great!

Eagerly awaited visiting here after it opened as I had read many great reviews. While I understand a new restaurant has kinks to work out, they only have one chance at making a great first impression. And this was not great! Our group of 9 waited a long time for our food. When we got it, everyone was disappointed with 75% of the items and our nachos arrived after the others were done eating…The worst nachos we’ve ever had! And the food was similar to other restaurants they own in the area (which are great may I add)! Blue Pike needs their own menu with items unique to that restaurant only. They need to step up their game big time to be able to make a go of it in that location. (And they definitely should NOT use yesterday’s leftover chicken to make today’s nachos!) The view is nice of the old marina and Lake Erie and the wait staff very friendly.

Went for dinner, tried their special of crab cakes. Much bigger than I expected, so much crab! By far the best I’ve had in a very long time! The waitress was very friendly. We’ll definitely be back!
