Stopped in earlier this week for lunch. Wow! is the best way to describe my reaction from start to finish. Plethora of options to choose from – customizable platters and so many different protein options. I got their big plate piled till it was at risk of collapsing, stacked high with choice of rice and beans (I chose yellow rice and black beans), and choice of protein (I chose lechon/roasted pork). There was easily over a pound of meat on my plate and every bite was succulent, tender, flavorful, and well-seasoned. The bits of skin were crunchy, crispy, and added a very nice contrast of textures. I also got a beef empanada that I saved for dinner (which was excellent – flavorful and the dough was flaky, crispy, and buttery), and a small order (1/2 lb) of chicharron for my table to split. The chicharron was heavenly. Flavorful, crispy, salty, tender, crunchy, hit every note of texture and taste that you could want. Paired everything nicely with a coke.
Service was immaculate. Quick, and super friendly. They have a homemade in-house hot sauce that is to die for. If they sold it in supermarkets I would buy it instantly. Little sweetness, citrus-y, garlic-y, seasoned well, with a little kick (honestly could be spicier but it’s mild enough that most people that can’t tolerate spice well will find it super flavorful and palatable. Normally 25 cents per cup, they gave me the first cup free on-the-house, and then offered me one to take with my leftovers (of which I had plenty). It was an incredible experience, and I look forward to going back this week.

This is the best Dominican/spanish food in town!!! I recently had a party catered from Spanish Grill. Everything was so delicious and fresh. Natasha is awesome!! You wont be disappointed. They had the food ready for pick up as promised. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Twice we’ve tried to place a catering order over the phone and they refused insisting we needed to go in person. We took our business elsewhere but not everyone has time to place an order in person especially when you don’t live in Elizabeth. Why they can’t accept card payment over the phone in 2025 is beyond me. Very antiquated and poor customer service in that regard. Payment over the phone with a credit/debit should be the norm.
