The food is set out cafeteria-style here, much like Chinese store fronts you’d find at the mall. The food is decent, but pretty greasy. Everything comes in styrofoam (even when you dine in), so you feel like you are killing the environment. There are lots of better options for Chinese food close by such as Pearl Garden. Unless you need a drive thru, steer clear.

Tried this place for the first time today. My only negative is not trying it sooner! Got my order quickly; it was hot and fresh and correct. My food was delicious. I ordered a combo and one of my items was the hot and spicy chicken. It was so good! I will definitely be going back again!

Chongwah was my first Chinese food experience when I was a child. I loved them then, and I love them now. I have never had a bad experience with them in the 25+ years that I’ve eaten there. If your expecting high end cuisine, look elsewhere. If you want good, cheap, fast Chinese food, then you’ll love these guys.

First time eating here usually get Swen’s portions were small and it was not fried rice just not very tasty. Did get drive thru maybe if you eat inside portions are larger but compared to Swen’s they are very lacking. Would not recommend just drive a little further to a much better restaurant.

Food is always great! Their fried rice is best plus the have shrimp sauce they dont charge and warm and a leg for or look at u like ur crazy! The honey chicken was very good. My 1st time having that and I will be getting it again. They r family owed and operated so they r closed on Sundays which is respectable! 5⭐

Been coming here for almost 10 years now and always been treated with respect and kindness. Food isn’t flashy or over the top but that doesn’t mean it isn’t perfect. It’s a small quaint lil wholesome restaurant and wouldn’t have it any other way. Best friend rice and egg rolls in town.

Some of the tastiest beef and broccoli, sesame chicken, lo mein, and fried rice I’ve had in Tuscaloosa. The BEST egg rolls I’ve ever had anywhere. The lady and man that run the place have been super nice every time I’ve been there. 10/10

I come here alot, I came Tuesday and ordered 2 sweet and sour chicken dinners. I made sure that I asked was it fresh, they said yes. I got home and the chicken was like rubber. I call and they said just come back bye when you are in town again. I did and the lady at the window wanted to fuss. And still say that their food is always fresh. I said yes ma’am but not the last time that I got food from here. She said that she promised to God. I said well you lying and don’t let that lie send you to Hell. She was very rude and I do like their food. She really made me get out of character.
