Call of the Canyon is a locally owned restaurant, new to Findlay OH. It has been a Bowling Green staple since the mid 1990s. We are excited to serve mac & cheese, grilled cheese, tacos, burritos, sandwiches, salads, soup, and homemade pie! We also provide catering for large groups! The food here is so good. My parents and I stopped here on our way to our hotel and the people were very nice! I got the Chicken Bacon Ranch Quesadilla and it was fantastic. My mom got the New Sheriff platter with the potato salad which she liked a lot, the meat was great and she loved the Cowboy Beans. She’s from Arizona and said it was almost exactly like the ones she used to have. My dad got the Cuban platter with the coleslaw and liked it too. We ate outside of We Serve. Coffee because the only indoor seating for Call of the Canyon is 2 seats. Love the decoration!! One hundred percent would recommend this place, only problem is how much food you get! We were stuffed and still had lots left lol.

Sorry to say but the egg salad, tuna salad and chicken salad were all very bland. The same could be said for the chicken bacon nachos. Tomatoes were fresh. Fruit was fresh. Corn muffin was definitely not for me. It was kind of bitter. I don’t think it was necessarily bad; just not the most seasoned food. I could certainly think of many people who would really like this, so certainly give it a chance.

Our server was attentive and friendly. Menu had quite the variety. I had the fajita chicken tacos. Everything was fresh and delicious. I definitely want to come back to try another menu item. Prices are reasonable for portion sizes.

Taco Tuesday! Great variety of tacos. I had Buffalo chicken (My fav ) fajita & bean tacos. All good tasting and plenty to eat. Our waitress was top notch. Yes! the new building is dine in. Worth the trip to downtown.

My coworkers and I had our weekly lunch order today and decided to give this place a try. I’m a picky eater and decided to try the chicken bacon ranch nachos (minus the bacon). I was impressed and will definitely be back! The only downfall is the parking—trying to find a spot on Main or the side streets is difficult.

Passing through from a trip found this little gem. Very friendly and welcoming place. Great wraps and different combinations of mac and cheese, “best wrap i ever had”. The oreo pie was delicious and eaten within1/2 a mile of us leaving. We didn’t care to eat standing up, it is part of the charm!

Ordered the baked potato bar for a work lunch, this was enjoyed by all who ate. The potato were a decent size for a lunch portion, cooked perfectly and still hot when served. There were a variety of toppings including butter, sour cream, bacon, green onion, cheese and steam broccoli. I added the chili option, highly recommend and will order again.
