Love this joint for my fried chicken fix. The best fried chicken in the south will be found at random convenient stores & no they don’t fry chicken all day, you fry a big batch & sell it till it’s gone (end of lunch). They are going through a “how thick to cut this potatoe wedge” phase but they’ll work it out. Thanks for being close to me when nothing else is…except Dollar General.

Breakfast is awesome! Biggest biscuits I have ever seen. They are buttery and are sinfully divine. Service is fast and friendly.

May 2017. I have stopped getting gasoline here. They never keep paper stocked in the gas pumps for receipts. So if you want a receipt you have to go in and wait in line behind people getting cigarettes and lottery tickets when you just wanted to run through and get gasoline with your debit card very quickly. I still stop in for drinks and stuff like that. The selection for the store inside is good.

Decent gas station, the women that work there are awesome and nice. The grill is hit and miss though, but it’s not a 5 star restaurant so don’t judge too harshly. It’s not bad for Stokes county.

Don’t ask for fresh cooked chicken. You’ll get what’s been sitting under the heat lamp dried out, not good. They will definitely tell you it’s fresh don’t believe that lie! all the women cooking handling our food were barehanded not even one glove on. Foothills you never know who’s watching you might want to follow the mandatory rules, follow the health code.. we willl be watching
*UPDATE UPDATE!!! REVISITED*
on January 11th and January 15th 2019. Both days she(the short fat YOUNGER cook), -NOT the old lady- REFUSED to cook any chicken wings or legs for my friend and I.. The girl told me I had to buy what was sitting under the lamp (a couple breast, a few thighs) I do not eat that part of the chicken.. ALSO the chicken looked OLD like it had been sitting too long… She claimed they were closing soon BUT BOTH days that I visited, it wasn’t even 5pm & closing time is POSTED 8pm!! I do not live right around the corner.. I drove from Winston-Salem to get your gas station fried Chicken.. BUT NEVER AGAIN.. The younger dark-haired big girl was the cook both days I visited..She’s just LAZY as hell and would rather SIT outside & SMOKE CIGARETTES than do her job and cook the food for the people.. Maybe shes eating all chicken legs & wings..IDK!! BUT looking back at the reviews, this has been going for some time now.. The owner/manager whoever the big guy is with the gorgeous eyes told me on (Jan.11) next time I come back, I would have what I wanted.. LIES!! On top of lies… DO BETTER!

Best part of the store is that they have a variety of items, not only food and drinks, but blankets, nicknacks and etc. WORST PART!!!—- i never get greeted when i go in the store, which is usually never busy at the time and the workers are sitting at the picnic table right near the front door SMOKING A CIGARETTE!!! not even 10 feet from the door. Not a friendly place

Check the date on everything you buy at this store staff seems to be to lazy to keep up with it to busy sitting behind counter on there phone I know to check dates on things but my son bought couple of two litters got them home I checked date out by 2 months unbelievable glad there is other stores this one only good for gas

A lady name Teresa that works there is very rude and inhuman. A girl needed ice and didn’t have enough money this lady was so rude over a quarter. She is just like the rude lady miss Kay that use to work there. If Teresa continues to work there I will not be returning

Went in to get dinner. Try ordering food told they was out. Then I was told it wasn’t time to cook any how can u run out and not cook fresh food when u don’t close for 2 1/2 more hrs
