I stumbled on this place by total accident while detouring a bit for gas, and I’m so glad I did. The building caught my eye—it had that rustic, mountain-town charm that makes you want to stop and see what’s inside. After filling up, I went in and found this neat little store combined with a restaurant. It felt like an old-school mountain outpost—full of character, with all kinds of interesting things for sale and warm, kind folks running the place. The whole experience was unexpected and memorable

Food was great! Service was great. This will be my regular stop on my way through. Great little spot. Lunch was good. Had a bacon cheeseburger and some onion rings. Very good. I bet the breakfast is amazing!

I ate here with my husband for the first time today. He has been here before and really loves the catfish. I will agree with him, the catfish was really good! He also had slaw, hushpuppies, and fries, and they were also pretty good. I ordered a BBQ pork potato. The prices seem to be set very reasonably, so I really don’t wanna complain, but I would like to suggest adding a little more meat to the potatoes.

The restaurant is very spacious and appeared clean. There are lots of beautiful paintings hanging on the walls, but the atmosphere is kinda bland. Regardless, we will definitely be going back!

On the recommendation of the staff at Dead Zero Shooting Park, after a long day shooting, we ate dinner at Cagle Mountain Restaurant. It really hit the spot. We had the fried pickles appetizer, a cheese burger w/fries and the fried bologna sandwich and fries. The staff were super friendly, and the food was great and very affordable!

We called them ONE MINUTE before closing, With a flat tire 5 miles away. they stayed over 40 minutes past closing time. And helped us patch a tire. Great people who were so kind! We would’ve been stranded without their kindness out here in middle of no where! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT

Stopped here on the way to the mountains and grabbed a corn dog and fried mushrooms- super good! We also stopped on the way back home and got a burger, the club sandwich and onion rings with sweet tea which all of it was good as well and very large portions! Cute little country diner we are glad we found it and will be back!

Didn’t go to the restaurant side! The convenience store bathrooms need a deep cleaning though and the garbage all over the parking lot needs picked up. You have a business in the middle of nowhere that people utilize. You have a wonderful opportunity to give an awesome impression to those that pass through. Please clean your facility. I should have taken pictures, but I didn’t.

Nasty dirty bathrooms have no locks. They’re incredibly nasty graffiti all over the place. It looks like it had a flood, and nobody replaced any of the wood. It’s all swollen and crackly and fallen apart. no soap. This is right next to the restaurant so how can the restaurant workers wash their hands after they’ve been going to the bathroom when there’s no soap disgusting

While in the area for a couple of days, we stopped here for breakfast. Off the chain! Huge portions, delicious, and very reasonably priced.
We enjoyed it so much that we came back for supper. Again, we had stellar service, huge amounts of AWESOME food, and at a great price point. If you’re ever in the area, stop in, but be sure to bring a big appetite!
