Vibrant, Delicious, and Generous!
Viet Soul is such a pleasant surprise at Westpoint — the decor is brand new, vibrant, and modern yet still feels warm and welcoming. We ordered the spring rolls, bánh xèo (crispy Vietnamese pancake), crispy chicken with noodles, and salt & pepper calamari — every dish was packed with flavour and perfectly cooked. The portions were generous (we definitely over-ordered!) and prices were very reasonable for the quality and serving size. A great spot for authentic, fresh Vietnamese food in Blacktown — highly recommend!

I don’t know if it’d be a reach to call the food here life changing, but it was genuinely some of the best vietnamese food I’ve ever had. And that’s a high bar considering the plethora of options. Originally came here because I was passing through the city and my usual bites were closed and I was not expecting the literal most perfect chicken of my life. Crispy skin, moist meat, and even the accompaniment of some broth to tie it all together was just wonderful. Theres nothing like a simple dish done perfectly. Other than that, the atmosphere and general dining areas were clean and followed a calming classy aesthetic. Staff were lovely. No notes. 10/10

Really great food and reasonable prices. The vermicelli salads are delicious. The hainanese chicken rice rice is so flavourful. We were also very pleased we could order a huge plate of veggies without the crispy noodles (didn’t need the extra carbs and didn’t want to waste them for the restaurant). Ginger teas are made with real ginger and not overly sweet. Staff were very friendly and the food came super quickly.

Tried Viet Soul and it was a good feed. Tasty broth, generous portions, and food came out fast. Staff were friendly and the place felt clean and relaxed. Prices are fair for the quality. Easy spot for a casual meal. Would come back. 10/10

The most prettiest Vietnamese restaurant I’ve ever been in. First of all clean, lighting is great as I don’t like having a meal in dark spaces. I like the fact that each table have corner guards, very considerate. The lighting decor is elegant and artwork panel is so pretty to look at. See photos attached. The music being played just adds a nice touch of classy atmosphere that every pour of water in my cup feels like I’m having wine.
I only had the special Pho today which is good.
Service could be better , the lady should serve food right in front of the customer instead of placing it to the side of the table.

My first time at Viet Soul following a morning session at the cinema. The chicken with lemongrass and chilli and the peach iced tea was delectable. Definitely returning another time. Maybe for dinner instead for the evening atmosphere.

Unfortunately the food was pretty boring and bland. The dressing for the pork chop noodles didn’t have enough umami and the vermicelli noodles were overcooked! The banh xeo viet pancake was mediocre and needed a bit more batter to carry the meat filling. The mocktail had 80% foam….Try another place for Vietnamese food (and mocktails) because this experience was a disappointment.
