Loved claypot pork belly and catfish!!! So moist and juicy! The flavors are so rich and delicious! They carefully crafted every Meal so well! I highly recommend it!
The sweet and sour shrimp with vegggie soup wasn’t super sour but cooked to perfection! The shrimps are cut well so it’s easy to eat!!
They also give a huge pot of rice!

Small but cozy spot in Houston. The crispy clay pot rice was amazing, and the catfish sweet and sour soup was full of flavor. Friendly service and a place I’d definitely come back to. Highly recommend if you love com nieu!

The food is absolutely amazing! I went there on a friend’s recommendation and visited around 4 PM, which was a quiet time—perfect for enjoying the meal and receiving the full attention of the server.
Everything we ordered was delicious. The egg rolls and the taro dish were unbelievably good, and the vegetables were fresh and flavorful. We loved every single dish we tried.
This is a 10/10 Vietnamese restaurant that I proudly recommend!

I went to Cơm Niêu restaurant in Houston, TX, for a late lunch. It is a small restaurant, but the atmosphere is nice. I ordered a pot of rice (cơm niêu) cooked in a clay pot with catfish sweet and sour soup. I really liked their crispy cơm riêu because it was so crispy and crunchy. Their catfish sweet and sour soup was delicious. The server was very nice. I will definitely come back in the future. If you like crispy rice in a clay pot, then I would highly recommend coming here.

Such a cozy vietnamese family style restaurant! One of its kind. Big portions to share and reasonably priced! I would go here whenever the area again!

Our first time trying out this restaurant and we’re glad we did. We came right at opening time and were the first table they had. Not even 15 minutes in, the place was packed and people were waiting outside the door. We came for the popular sour fish soup (canh chua) and the carmelized catfish (cá kho tộ). Both were delicious! The other dishes were also good. The servers were very quick and friendly. However, we were a little disappointed that they didn’t have any of the clay pot rice (cơm niêu) cooked and ready for service. After all, the restaurant is named after that one dish.

Food quality was amazing. Price was decent. I bet little more attention to detail on service will make it so much better. I had chipped pot. I had to ask for water and the dish wasn’t clean

The nolstalgia hit real hard when I take a bite. Their pickled mustard green soup brought me straight back to my childhood by my grandma and mom. It’s like a saying from my favorite singer: “sometimes you like the dish because it’s great, other times you like the food because it brings you back great memories!”

Visiting from southern California and this place felt like home. Small local restaurant with great food and prices. The catfish was so flavorful and came with a big portion of rice! The medium is about two pieces of catfish.
We also got an order of the bot chien, which is like fried flour/rice cake with egg? It was delicious and I loved the pickled veggies and sauces. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and want catfish!

Came for lunch and it started pouring rain as soon as we got to the parking lot. Even with the rain the place was pretty busy but we got a table right away. We ordered several dishes from the menu including appetizers and main dishes. The items came out when it gets done so main dishes came out before our appetizers came out. That’s ok, we ate whatever came out. Food was good, tasty, not as flavorful as I would’ve liked, and portions were not as big as other places. I like the eggrolls. They are made with rice paper and was fried perfectly to the perfect crunchiness without being burnt. Hard to do with rice paper.
