It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

My husband placed an order on the app and picked a time for pick up I think it was around midnight. We only live two blocks away so we got there on time picked and up our food. We got back home started eating and this is what we found. The fries were good and fresh very hot but the burgers just didn’t turn out as good. Undercooked patties and just slapped together. I won’t be choosing to eat here anymore unless it’s just convenient.

Not very often can you say that.. Most hamburgers are eatable.. But this burger was spot on!!
Young lady (Lacy) at the front counter taking the orders was very nice and welcoming (second to none)..

I decided to try this one, see if they are any better than the Joplin one. Eh. They weren’t busy, but no one seemed to be manning the counter. There were 7 vehicles on the property, the three customers in the lobby, and 2 vehicles in drive through. That’s not busy at all.
I eventually just ordered online, seeing the “free coffee” sign on the door. Then I found that promotion ended over a month ago. They offered me a free coffee when I brought it up but I told them already paid for one when I ordered online.
So I get my food. The food was good, the coffee was fresh, but they didn’t fill it up. I paid full price for a large and got a small in large cup.
I don’t truly understand what is going on with these two stores. One of the employees was smoking a cigarette out front, walked right in and went to the back, I hope their hands were washed back there.The kinks should have been ironed well out by now. This cannot be the first time that these people have worked in fast food.

My brother and I had an awesome experience at the Whataburger in Webb City, Missouri, during a late-night visit at 3 AM on September 10, 2025. The employees, Shasta and Tucker, were absolutely fantastic! They were friendly, efficient, and made sure our order was spot-on, even at such an odd hour. The food was fresh, hot, and exactly what you’d expect from Whataburger—delicious! The restaurant was clean, and the service was quick despite the late-night rush. Shasta and Tucker’s great attitudes really made the visit memorable. Highly recommend this location for a satisfying meal and top-notch service! Thank you so much.

Came in & ordered at 6:44 – used the kiosk and had assistance, very nice about that. However, we were left waiting for our food, people walked in & sat down & got their food before us – 7:20, FINALLY walked up to the front to ask about our food, and waited another 5 minutes. To say they TRIED, would be lying. No offer to fix it or anything. The ONE strand of brown lettuce was sad, the cold fries also sad, the smashed burgers JUST SAD. Never have we had this bad of an experience, going to make people sick and have bigger issues. Would love to come back, but a little unsure based on the service alone.

Beware of their parking lot entrance and exits at the Webb City Mo location. It is Terrible. It is so steep, it sounded so loud, I thought it tore up the underneath of my van. I will NEVER go back to that location. They never have any business for it being a newly open place, and I can’t blame the food, but even the employees admitted to lots of complaints about getting in and out, when I asked them. You better have a high sitting 4 wheel drive to go there.

Double burger was below average, onion rings that I have loved at others times were over cooked and when I asked for a new one they said they are normally like that and dropped into fryer when ordered. I didn’t eat them, seems like they could have easily replaced. My wife had cold fries they did replace those so we shared them.

Went through the drive through for some late night dinner for me, my wife and daughter. I was the only car in line, Waited 20 minutes at the window before receiving my cold food which was only actually half of the order and not correct.
Terrible service all around and food was not nearly as good as usual!
