I had a very alarming experience that I believe is related to money laundering or a sophisticated scam originating from this location.
A skinny, Black female employee attempted to set me up as a delivery driver. I was told to deliver to an address and keep the delivery money.
When I arrived at the address, a man pretended to offer a tip, handing me a $100 bill that was fake.
They were clearly attempting to involve me in illegal activity using counterfeit currency. I did not fall for the scam and immediately took the pizzas back to the store.
⚠️ Important Warning for All Customers Doing Cash Business:
Anyone paying with or receiving cash from this Papa John’s location should meticulously check your money to ensure it is not counterfeit. Given the attempt to pass fake $100 bills in a scam, I urge all customers to be vigilant.
Future delivery drivers should be extremely cautious and report any suspicious instructions to keep money or suspicious payments.

TEAMWORK TALK while you have 2 people working at night on a busy day. This store is wants to maximize its profits at the expense of Dashers and its Customers . As a Dasher I Waited for the customer’s order for 30 mins. Came for another one a few hours later and waited for 40 mins. 1hr 10 mins NO income. This store has LITERALLY TAKEN FOOD FROM THE MOUTH OF MY CHILDREN.also got a negative review for one of this orders.

Loved this location and how friendly the staff was. I’ve placed large corporate orders in the past and they never disappoint. They aways go above and beyond even ensuring mulitple times that I will be picking up my order the next day. Staff here is always willing to help and food is very consistent. DELIVERY: They will not deliver to your doorstep, you’d have to walk out to the street to get your food. Doesn’t sound much like a delivery right? Especially after tips and the delivery fee. At that point I could’ve just got in my car and drove. This is my second time ordering delivery here and I’ve had the same driver that I’ve tipped both times that will not get out of the car and meet me half way at least. My building isn’t far from the street, other deliveries have no issue.
PIZZA: Never hot and always undercooked and sloppy, some toppings have never been rotated in the make line and aren’t always fresh. I worked in pizza before…Unfortunately anything within a 3 mile radius of this area is a complete fail.

Went to get some pizza today, and there was a slim, brown skinned ,young woman working the counter, and 4-5 other employees in the back making pizza, etc. I showed the counter employee my phone and stated “can someone hand me a to-go order. The young woman rolled her eyes and stated “YOU CAN WAIT! ” In a condescending tone. I promptly left to find food elsewhere! I understand help is hard to find, but as a local guide, I’d recommend any of the thousands of other DC restaurants over a place that disrespects customers at the door!

I live one block in fact not even a block a half a block from the store. Every time I order pizza I have to call them and ask them to be the first delivery and they never listen and I end up being the last delivery by the time I get my pizza it is ice cold like it’s been sitting for hours. Just spoke to the manager Carlos and he acted like I was lying telling me I can’t be the first delivery it goes to who orders first. I will never order again from the store. I ordered the pizza at 6:37 and just received it at 8:10 p.m.

Ordered online at 6:12pm on Christmas Eve .pizza was marked delivered at 6:50pm. Delivery person called at 7:25pm to tell me they were outside, once I get my order it www wrong and cold.
Went to the store. Spoke to the manger on duty and told me that I could either wait or receive a credit on my account. Waited for the pizza to be remake and that took another 35 mins
Received my food and the manger never even apologized for them messing up on my food

If I could give 0 star I would! Ordered at 7:14 pm and its 9:07 and my delivery never arrived . If you want to eat pizza, never order from this store! I called them and placed me on hold for 20 plus minutes and than told me they had to order for me ! Whatttt????

I never got my order I placed I ordered at 8:00 it’s currently 12:10 and I still have no order I called at 9:00 to make sure they were still on the way because the order said delivered the two staff members that answered the phone the first one she said the system does that and he didn’t even leave the store yet so I waited patiently reached back out at 12:00 STILL WITH NO ORDER! The second employee that answered and told me he don’t see my order and there’s nothing he can do for me I so I’m out of 70$ and still no order thank you papa Johns on 4020 Minnesota ave NE ste 114 something needs to be done about this situation because this is unacceptable for buisness
