The pizza was amazing, and the service was incredibly friendly. We specifically tried the gluten-free cauliflower crust, which was spectacular. I was also pleased to see that you offer gluten-free pasta options. The rest of the menu looks excellent, and I am already looking forward to returning to try more dishes.
You have definitely gained a new regular. I will be highly recommending your establishment to others.
Atmosphere and Service: 3.9/10 – The atmosphere was unusual, mixing fine dining elements with a pizza shop feel and a bar, creating a strange and somewhat confusing vibe. The restaurant was fairly quiet compared to nearby places. The staff was nice, but the table was sticky, which didn’t leave the best impression. The lunch menu was very limited, making it difficult to fully explore the kitchen’s offerings. Pricing leaned on the expensive side for what was served.
Soup: 7.4/10 – A highlight of the visit. The soup, though the name was forgotten, was excellent. It had the perfect serving temperature, a flavorful broth, and a great mix of ingredients that blended together really well.
Shrimp Penne: 5.2/10 – A very average dish. It was fine in taste, but the portion, especially getting only three shrimp, felt very small for the price. Not a dish worth returning for based on the overall value.
On the positive side, our waiter really friendly, and made sure I was good with my Tree Nut allergy.
The atmosphere was decent and it worked for a casual night out. All in all, it wasn’t a bad visit, but I don’t think I’d oder the pizza next time.
Our server, Victoria, was exceptionally kind. She began by asking about allergies, a small but meaningful gesture that felt both intentional and professional. I decided to wait for Niki before ordering a drink, and during that brief pause Victoria checked in just enough to make me feel cared for without hovering.
Once my friend arrived, we debated cocktails versus wine. Victoria mentioned they were offering a bottle special, and after sampling, we ultimately opted for cocktails. Niki ordered the Campari Sour, which she enjoyed, while I chose the Spiced Pear Martini pretty in presentation but a bit too sweet for my taste.
We shared brussels sprouts, a pizza, and a salad. The brussels arrived beautifully but had a small mishap that required them to be sent back. The replacement dish was just okay, hinting at some inconsistency in the kitchen.
The Flora Pera pizza, topped with arugula, prosciutto, and pear, had wonderful flavor potential. We both found ourselves wishing for more pear just enough to bring balance to each bite.
The standout dish of the evening, unexpectedly, was the salad, fresh, vibrant, and flawlessly executed.
Throughout the night, the manager checked in warmly during moments when Victoria was away, and the entire staff maintained an attentive, gracious presence.
Overall, our experience at Giorgio’s Pizza was enjoyable thoughtfully hospitable with a few areas that could be elevated for true consistency.
Food was to die for, had the shrimp pasta and the chicken parmesan. The shrimp were perfect tender and the pasta had so much flavor. The chicken parmesan is definitely my new favorite dish, amazingly crispy. (Could not resist getting a pizza to go) Chef Kamari is very talented.
Service was great, they were so fast to get my order in and get the food out before I knew it.
Definitely recommend if you haven’t been in a while, or are looking for somewhere new.
