great dining experience at the flame! we ordered the mediterranean platter as an appetizer and followed it with the chicken souvlaki skewers with greek salad, beef gyro wrap, and lemon potatoes on the side. everything was so delicious! reasonably priced, service was great, and restaurant is clean. can’t wait to come back 🙂

I had the Persephone’s martini which was refreshing, the saganaki cheese which was very good, and the mixed plate of gyro meat, sausage, and lemon potatoes. It was all very tasty, I ended my meal with the Baklava cheesecake which was fantastic. Our waitress was great and our food came out fast. I would have given a 5 stars but I don’t agree with the 3% credit card surcharge.

Great experience over all. The atmosphere Is fresh, clean, and colors and decore sleek / very home feeling. The have options for more intimate seating like booths or if your one who roles in a crowd. There’s large tables for you too. Very accommodating overall. We enjoyed several dishes def need to try the spanakopita (flaky buttery crispy goodness). We had the gyro platter (def could feed two) and a chicken pita (juciy delicious seasoned chicken). Now let’s get to the sides; salad def fresh no wilting and tomatoes as red as your sunburn on a hot day. We both opted for grilled veggies and let me tell you devoured them all ( tasty with a side of more please). Lastly I was feeling like I needed a drink and it didn’t disappoint great pour and garnish for the win. Totally a great experience thank you for the hospitality and definitely coming back for more. Did I mention you get warm bread and butter. But one thing I need to say is please I beg you leave room because we’re full.

First time here and we loved it. Of course we had to get Saganaki and it was perfect! The Sea Bass was excellent and I highly recommend it. My wife loved the Pastitsio. We had such a great waitress, Ayris, she was so friendly and recommended some great dishes! We will be back!

This is our third experience at The Flame and it’s honestly one of those places you leave feeling like you didn’t mind spending $100 for two people. The food and drinks were exceptional. Old Fashioneds were great. I had chicken souvlaki and it was wonderful. Hubby had the gyro plate and he thought it was great! Lemon potatoes were also divine. Server’s Jen and Erin were attentive and very friendly and professional. We will definitely return! Thanks for a great meal.

Very impressed with menu options. We felt as though we were getting a little taste of Greek food. Not your standard american ‘greek’ restaurant. Service was great. Atmosphere was appealing, but not over the top. Comfortable. The Greek Ploes cabernet was fantastic. Both our meal meats were just a tad on the dry side, but well seasoned, tasty. Would definitely return.

Had to wait 20-25 min. for seat. Hostess more interested in her phone than anything else in down time. Our waitress nice but not intuitive. My husband & I sharing a steak dinner, but she didn’t think to give us an xtra soup spoon or steak knife. Had to ask for those & had to ask someone else b/c she wasn’t around! Our steak had GREAT flavor but a lot of fat/grissel. Rolls & hummus delicious. The lemon chicken rice soup & lemon potatoes were good, just not my thing.

This was one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. Tucked in DeKalb, Illinois, I never expected to find such a treasure. The sauces were top notch, the food was amazing, and our waiter made us feel like the most important people in the place. I only wish we had a place like this in NC! 100% go there!

Love it. We had a ballet performance nearby and this is the best option. I was SO impressed by their saganaki, brought out flaming with brandy. Service was attentive and detail oriented and efficient. Superb gyros (we are very picky and have a lot of gyros options back home). I’m so glad we found this place!

The food at this restaurant was absolutely outstanding — every bite was packed with flavor and freshness. But what really made the experience unforgettable was Justin, whose exceptional service and warm personality took our visit to the next level. Can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend!!!
