I am VERY happy with this restaurant and I’m so glad that we decided to just give them a try, despite the reviews. Everything was soooo good. I live 20 minutes away and literally drove and waited in line for my food – because it was worth it!! They were extremely busy, and very professional. Friendly service with a smile. The restaurant itself wasn’t too packed. There were maybe 2 tables that had people dining in. And there were alot of doordash orders. The prices are very affordable. We plan on trying some more menu items in the future and definitely recommend this restaurant.
FYI we got the pollo a la brass, arroz chaufa, black beans, cheesy red skin potatoes and vegetables. Chefs kiss.

They have spicy and regular chicken, which was ok. I tried both didn’t prefer the spicy because of the heat level. Regular chicken was ok, not as seasoned. Veggies look good. Chicken Fried Rice ok.

Atmosphere could use some upgrades but the food is always good. They give you a nice size portion for your money. This place is typically busy during rush hour hours but they get you in and out pretty quickly.

I had the Lima’s Special, came with 1 Whole marinated charbroiled chicken served with your choice of 3 homemade side orders and 1 two liter bottle of soda for $35.95. Feeds 4 adults if you aren’t greedy I also ordered the chicken flautas for $10 ratings below:

Green beans- 7.5/10 (wish they had a bit more flavor)

My favorite lazy day food; their chicken is so well cooked with flavor. I love their plantains, but the veggies are inconsistent and need flavor. The string beans are great some days, and hard without seasoning on others. I also like the fish, but it is commonly over fried making the fish stick to the bone. Overall, I love their food and will consistently return.

I have come here several times before. I usually get the chicken, and it’s great! However, today, I decided to try something new: the lomo saltado burrito. BIG MISTAKE!
The menu says it’s a “must try,” but that’s literally it! There are NO prices for this on the menu.
Steak burritos cost $14.95, so I was surprised to find that they had charged me $16.95 – PLUS a $0.10 bag fee (even though I was dining in).
The burrito was in fact NOT a burrito. It was rice, tomatoes, and 4 small chunks of steak wrapped in a tortilla, cut in half with both sides open.
This was an absolute disaster to eat!
I couldn’t pick it up to eat it, and it was so thin. So I unfolded the tortilla to try to refold it properly (I used to work at chipotle), and found that there was barely any food in it.
I have included pictures so that you can see, but this (plus a drink) is definitely not worth almost $22!
This is the first time that I was really disappointed with my meal here.
Moral of the story: do NOT buy the lomo saltado “burrito”

G and I love this place. It’s one of our favorites. It’s always clean. The owners are always nice and in a pleasant mood and the music makes the atmosphere even more awesome. We had a nice fulfilling meal!

I eat here about 3x a month and it’s always the same, but in a good way.It’s always very clean and tidy. It’s impresssive because I don’t think I’ve ever been here when anything was even out of place, that is astonishing in it’s own right. The service is always excellent, and the food is not only good but they give you your money’s worth with portions. So I would recommend everyone to give them a try. I think you’ll love coming here to eat.

I came there after school and it’s 842. I am getting in my car now and they are closed. They do not stay open until nine and when I got there. They had all of the food on top of the Counter and they were very nasty. They did not have what I wanted because they said they were not making any more plantain or anything as a customer and they did not give me a discount and had the nerve to charge me extra dollar for sources. I will never come here again. I should’ve listened to my instincts. I will only go to Pollo amigo. Do not come here. They are nasty as hell.
