I have been a loyal customer of Tasty House for over 15 years, and the food has consistently been excellent. The quality and flavor have always been the reason I continue to make the drive from Cicero to Berwyn.
Unfortunately, over the past year, the customer service has noticeably declined. During my last four visits, the young ladies at front counter have been unwelcoming and disengaged. There has been little to no greeting, acknowledgment, or basic courtesy such as a “thank you.” As a long-time customer who goes out of his way to support this business, that experience has been disappointing.
Great food is important, but so is customer service. A simple greeting and a respectful interaction go a long way in creating a positive experience. I truly hope management addresses this, because the food deserves service that matches its quality. At this point, however, I will likely begin exploring other options.
I share this feedback with respect and the hope that it leads to improvement.

This is my second time and this probably my go to spot now I usually egg foo young, spicy fried rice, low mein, and broccoli beef which I would recommend all of these. It was all very good. Ordered over the phone and I got there order was pretty much done. Good customer service and quick.

I ordered the general tofu thinking it would be similar to Lao Sze Chuan. Nope it was swimming in a watery sauce with baby corn and bell peppers. The veggie spring rolls were fine. Lastly, the vegetable chow mein is not similar at all to what I had in Taiwan. This too was swimming in liquid and gummy due to the corn starch. I’m not sure if this is a different type of food since it is Chinese American, but I do not recommend. Better go make the drive to Chinatown Chicago or stick to what they are good at.

I ordered a large beef fried rice with jumbo shrimp. I received a half empty container with medium/small shrimp. Then they have the audacity to charge 5¢ each for sweet & sour and soy sauce that usually comes complementary when ordering Chinese food. The food itself was good but for $30 I want a full order

Worked through lunch. Didnt eat anything all day. Got a sesame chicken dinner. Chicken was unedible, I gagged… Fried rice was good at least. I’ve eaten here since I was kid and the foods just been incredibly inconsistent the past few years. Very upsetting..

This is one of this joints that’s basically a dive but the food is incredible and reliable and ready fast. My family and I have become regulars over the course of more than a decade and will continue making this place our go to place for consistently delicious Chinese food.

They say third times a charm but no, not this time! Food was overcooked and customer service was horrible. Hung up on me several times after addressing the overcooked part of my food. I’ve seen a young couple working in the past and those experiences were great but I can’t say the same this time with the older man behind the counter. Next time…..not sure if there will be a next time.

First time ordering from here and I really enjoyed it. Got the fried chicken wing dinner special and a mango smoothie and I was not disappointed. Smoothie was flavorful and decent size for $3.50. Chicken wings were okay, but the chicken fried rice was really good too! Better prices than other places around too!

I ordered chicken fried rice and orange chicken, both were delicious but the orange chicken was a bit spicy for me. Although my food was delicious, their prices are getting very expensive.
