We are big fans of pizza odyssey in this household. The pizza is always delicious and the staff are great. They have unique flavor combos and everything always tastes incredibly fresh! My favorite is the OG with chicken added but I love getting just a classic pepperoni too with extra everything. Oh and anything that has pesto or hot honey on it. Now I’m craving pizza. Pizza Odyssey is by far the best pizza in Lakeland (and possibly the entire USA). With a blend of classic pies and creative combinations of original recipes it has everything you want from a pizza joint. Lakeland is lucky to have it!

I’ve ordered countless pizzas from here and they all have been well made and delicious. If there was ever a concern about it being overcooked and burnt, then they would remake it. You can even ask for a light bake on the pizza if you’re worried about it being overcooked. You can exchange ingredients on pizzas or ask for what you specifically want for ingredients to make it your style.

This review has two parts, but unfortunately, they’re intertwined due to Pizza Odyssey being inside the convenience store.
First, the pizza is fantastic, and the staff at Odyssey are friendly and accommodating. If the whole business were just these folks, I would give them 5 stars. But sadly, this brings me to my next issue.
I pulled up early to wait for someone and sat in the parking lot for a bit. Shortly after, a box truck pulled in behind me, followed by another one pulling in right beside me, nearly boxing me in with hardly any room to get out. Nobody got out of the trucks for a long time. When my associate finally arrived, I got out of my car, and that’s when two guys got out of the trucks, followed by some employees inside the store, one of whom had been sitting at the counter right in front of the window. They all sat at a table just a few feet from where we were eating. When I went inside to grab a drink, the guy who had been sitting at the counter started following me around the store. I went to grab a drink from the cooler, turned around, and found him standing just three feet behind me. I almost walked right into him because I didn’t even realize he was hovering over my shoulder, watching me the whole time. These guys stayed seated outside, barely moving, until we finished our meal. It wasn’t until we were about to leave that they started unloading their trucks.
I’m really sorry that Pizza Odyssey is inside this market because the store’s owners are shady, and honestly, they give off a criminal vibe. They treated me like I had done something wrong when all I did was buy a pizza and a soda.
The food is great, but this location feels incredibly sketchy, and frankly, it’s unsafe. Definitely not a place I’d feel comfortable going back to.

Best pizza around! Pizza Odyssey is our favorite family treat! We love stopping at the Lakeland store after a playground visit and they have the best tasting and freshest pizza ever. The weekly specials will make you craving dinner at Pizza Odyssey every night. Worth the drive from Auburndale -Abbey Richards

The food was in a world of its own. I’ve never had pizza that tasted like this and it was absolutely delicious and I love the way the cheese pulls away from the piece. The wings were frost and had plenty of sauce. It is in a convenience store, but there are chairs out front to sit on, but there is a really nice park around the lake to watch the birds while you eat right down the street.
