I have to give a huge shoutout to Simone at the Einstein Bros. on Moorland Rd. in Brookfield; she is absolutely phenomenal! Every time I walk in, she greets me with the warmest smile and genuinely friendly energy. She goes above and beyond to make sure orders are perfect, even during the busiest morning rush.

Simone is the kind of employee who makes you want to come back. She’s patient, efficient, and always makes you feel valued as a customer. You can tell she truly cares about providing great service, and it shows in every interaction.

Einstein Bros. is lucky to have her, and customers like me definitely notice her hard work! Thank you, Simone, for brightening mornings and making every visit such a positive experience.

Went in and ordered an iced Americano. The employee said he couldn’t make it. I asked for clarification as to why and he said “I don’t know how to make it”. I then just asked for an iced coffee. He ended up getting something that had very heavy sweet cream in it (didn’t ask for that). At that point I decided to just leave. Very disappointed.

I walked into this location fully aware the service had a poor reputation, but I decided to give them another chance before a friend’s birthday breakfast. Unfortunately, the experience reaffirmed every concern and left me frankly furious.

• I arrived with more than enough time to order a baker’s dozen.
• My order sat in limbo for roughly 40 minutes while one employee attempted to juggle both the front counter and the drive-thru (which they eventually shut down to cope with demand).
• A line was literally out the door, yet not a single apology—or even basic acknowledgment—was offered for the delay.
• By the time I finally received my order, I was late for the celebration and had no opportunity to request a refund.

Understaffing is one thing; ignoring customers and providing zero communication is another. This branch wasted my time, derailed my plans, and delivered an experience that left me absolutely fuming. In its current state, the location feels like a complete waste of space.

I’d love to give you a good review but we waited forever just for the cashier to be rude. She was doing the entire drive thru line as well. I saw several people dodging the drive thru and take out line. I drove to the 1700 Bluemound location and was served my food by friendlier people in half the time we waited in line for no help.

Eric got my food ready at the drive through extremely fast. My order was at 9:51AM Saturday in the drive through. I had all of my food and drink in less than 5 minutes. Outstanding, friendly customer service. My extras were also in the bag (sweeteners, napkins) so that I did not have to ask for them again. High attention to detail.

Everyday there’s an issue. Either my bagels aren’t toasted or no cinnamon sugar, or not enough cream cheese or rude mono toned employee in the drive thru . I’ve never had a pleasant experience at this location. 2 pictures from 2 different days.

TLDR: Incredibly slow service and staff that seems to be bothered by doing their jobs. Even if you order ONE BAGEL in the mobile app 15 minutes before you leave your house, plan for a 10 minute additional wait when you get there!

The ONLY reason I go to this store anymore is because of its location along my work commute since we moved to the neighborhood early this year. At this point though, I’d rather take a detour to get food somewhere else. I stopped going to the drive thru because without fail it adds 15+ minutes to my visit. When I go inside to the mobile order pickup spot, I am rarely greeted- employees see me and say nothing. I usually assume they’re busy so I wait a few minutes- by the time I speak up, the staff seems bothered and irritated. That’s the point where I can see them rushing to make my order, or they grab the bag from a counter in the back where it’s been sitting for the usual 5-10 minutes that I had been standing there waiting for anyone to even acknowledge me. My husband and I both have this same experience every time, and have gone from coming once a week to only as an absolute last resort. While a response with an apology seems to be the norm here, I just hope this review- and all the other ones- lead to some sort of change in service because having a drive-thru or mobile order breakfast service but making customers wait 20 minutes for a bagel honestly just defeats the purpose.
