Pints, flights & cocktails pair with Neapolitan-style pizza in a funky warehouse setting.

I had a great experience at Open Outcry Brewing Company! The staff was warm, friendly, and attentive, which really added to the inviting atmosphere. The sausage and fennel pizza with fire-roasted cherry tomato was delicious—perfect crust and flavorful toppings. Loved the Blueberry Vanilla Wheat and the spicy Heatwave Rita.

We didn’t get a chance to see the rooftop but we will be back to see it! Server recommended great drinks. Love this place already!:)

The new food menu is absolutely amazing! My husband and I had the chicken sliders with hot honey and Mac and cheese, the burger with battered fried and the winter salad. Then we came back on Sunday for more! The white pizza is killer and even is amazing reheated the next day!!! How’d he make that crust so perfect! All soooooo tasty! The chicken sliders were a miracle on a plate. I could eat them everyday. The salad is the best salad I have ever had and the burger was beyond delicious. The hazy IPA is so refreshing and makes me happy! These were the best meals I have in months!

I called this place just to ask if they were hiring. Katie the manager who I specifically asked for her name. Was very rude. That’s all I have to say about this place. Hope they thrive. Just as a human being. I hope they find better management! Love locel businesses. To whom it my concern just being honest. Still stand behind my post. She was rude. 100 percent. I hope she feels better tomorrow. Everyone is going through hard times. But won’t expect anything else from this place because of her attitude.

Came in on a Friday night with 3 people and sat up on the rooftop deck. It was not very busy. Less than half the tables were occupied. 2 servers working. It took about 5 min for a waitress to come to our table and then 20 min for our beer to come. Our food then came out very quickly but with only one set of silverware.
In my opinion the food is very heavy-handed. The veggie pizza “Napoleon ” style had big pieces of red pepper and waaay to much base level shredded mozzarella. Edible but not good. And certainly not worth $18.50. The Greek salad was $14.00 and also very heavy handed. Very large pieces of lettuce. Again not worth the price. With slightly more attention to detail with the same ingredients, it could be fine.
We then ordered one more cocktail which the server forgot. We needed to flag our server down to ask for the check and boxes. They brought the check but no boxes. They then shared that 20% gratuity was included, which is not cool. I typically tip above %20 but weigh the service and experience. This service was not worth %20. I would have like to know that up front. I asked for the receipt and boxes again. They brought the boxes but never the receipt. Things took way too long and the food was not on par with the cost.
Will not dine here again. With some small management focus, this place could be great. The atmosphere was very pleasing. Beer was ok. Service needs work. Drop the automatic %20 and servers will make more and do better.

Enjoyable atmosphere, love that you can see the inner workings of the on-site brewery facilities behind the bar area… adds an industrial but intimate feel to the space.
Taking a couple flights of steps to the outdoor patio is another delight and value add to the place. The aesthetic gives rooftop garden and helps to diminish some of the cityscape.
The food is good, service is pleasant and knowledgeable even though I did not get the opportunity to try any of the local brew on the menu on this visit (something to look forward to come back and experience).
*6/2025 update* They have a newer, pared down menu for the summer, but looks like they have overhauled their menu from my last visit. New items and all my favorites are gone. Tried the Australio IPA and a vegan “pepperoni” pizza. They had a Strawberry shortcake ice cream cake that was quite tasty as well. Still worth a visit, especially if you are a brewmaster or beer lover (which I’m not, but every once in a while I’ll try one).

Open Outcry is amazing. I appreciate the staffs and managers kindness to me even though I have autism and their food is amazing and really good. Owner John is very nice. The restaurant is in good condition. Amazing Chitown pizza. Must come back. 10/10.

This place has been up and down over the years, but with a new brewer and updated menu, it’s back up! Stopped in and had an IPA and a stout, both were incredible. Pizza was tasty, even the pain cheese kids one was great. Burger was juicy and delicious without being over complicated w toppings.

I only dropped by to have a quick drink, but I found Open Outcry quite pleasant. It seemed like a busy, popular place, but the staff was still friendly and careful with my order. I had their Open Interest IPA, and it was a very nice New England style IPA. I was quite happy with it, but seeing the food other people had made me want to stop by again to give their food menu a try. It’s definitely a good place to try, and I was happy with my experience.

The food was great. I definitely recommend The Hatch appetizer. It was so delicious, I’m sure I’m going back just for that. The pizza was so fresh and tasty. The crust just right and I could eat it alone honestly. Jenny offered us amazing service and was very attentive and had great recommendations of the menu. The scenery and atmosphere is very nice for summer, especially the rooftop. It’s a lowkey gem that I highly recommend.
