Yokoso Sushi offers traditional sushi as well as contemporary styles of maki. We also have a wide selection of appetizers, udon, and grilled meats. Amongst our highest values is customer satisfaction, as we strive to serve the freshest ingredients with the service that is expected of a small, independent restaurant. We were established in 2006 as one of the earliest tenants of the Crossroads at Pleasant Hill Shopping Center. Conveniently located immediately off Highway 680, Yokoso Sushi is a short walk from Downtown Pleasant Hill.

Great small restaurant. We came for a late lunch at about 5 and we surprisingly were the only customers and had all attention from the staff. It was our second visit there and we’ll definitely come again, everything is A++. The food is so fresh and well prepared. And the cost is so modest, about $15 for most meals. I worked in Walnut Creek from 2010 to 2012. Yokoso Sushi was my favorite place to go for lunch. Every time my husband and I are in Walnut Creek, we go to Yokoso Sushi. My favorite is Fuji roll, it’s absolutely delicious. That’s why we keep coming back for 13 years. We have not been able to find a comparable Sushi place in San Jose. San Jose has good Sushi, but no place we tried comes close to Yokoso Sushi in Pleasant Hill. Yokoso Sushi is a gem: small place, great food, and good service. Can’t go wrong with that.

The service was great, with warm and friendly staff, supper attentive throughout my stay. I tried the Long Beach sushi, which was decent but not extraordinary. The ambient background music added a nice touch, although it was a bit warm inside since the AC wasn’t on. It was bearable, but if you prefer a cooler environment, requesting the AC to be turned on might be a good idea!

Walked in for a quick takeout lunch, ordered a Chirashi Bowl from a young lady who was very nice. While I was waiting, another nice young lady offered me something to drink, hot tea, water. I declined, few minutes later she brought my order and asked if I needed anything else, and thanked me for coming in. I know, I’m supposed to be reviewing the food… My chirashi was fantastic! I just had to write about the service! Well done Yakoso!

You can not find higher quality, fresher sushi anywhere in this county than Yokoso, this has been my favorite go to for almost 13 years and they have never once disappointed me!! Go try my new self named roll, the “John Boy”, it is amazing! It has crab and tempura prawn inside, white albacore tuna with Japanese Mustard Sauce painted on top, along with thinly sliced avacado and more crab piled on top, and some fresh scallions !!!

What a great find. We wanted sushi and just had moved in to the neighborhood and tried out Yokoso for their sushi and it did not disappoint. We started with the Tuna sashimi and it was awesome. Great rolls. Great and friendly service and cute inside. And after all that, the price was more than fair. I recommend 100%.
