What a great authentic restaurant!!! The Cuban Sandwich was divine. As were the fresh made empanadas. They offer a cafeteria style food bar with several choices of meats, rice, beans and sides. Tamales were EXCELLENTE!

I’ve been craving fufu for the longest and checking this location for a min lol. And everytime I came to Monroe they would always be closed and today I finally got it and I loved it.!! Okay, I went the first time. Food was good. So I decided to go back with my kids. Lord the Abula with ewedu was made fresh , I drove by 20 minutes home and lord the food was hot and delicious. All I can say bi say I nearly bite my tongue commot for my mouth. The children ordered Okra and Egusi. And let me put am dis way. No sound out of them till dem finish their food. Please support this store. It’s not always going to be perfect. But the food will not disappoint ❤️❤️❤️

Got the jollof rice with chicken. Wife isn’t a big fan of bone-in meat but she liked the flavor. The plantains were good and rice was flavorful. Huge portion size was enough for both of us. Appreciate the added food diversity this brings to the area. Will be back to try the other dishes.

I am soooo happy I randomly decided to go here for lunch. I usually drive to Charlotte for African food because I had no idea that this restaurant was here. The costumer service was amazing, there was only one person working at the time. I didn’t get his name but he was super nice and quick. The food was amazing, will be returning soon!!
