This was my first time ordering Papa John’s Pizza and I was not impressed! When I entered to pick up my meal, I was not greeted and I literally had to wait at the counter for someone to acknowledge me. I placed my order to be picked up at 11:00 a.m. and I guess they made it way ahead of time because my food was not hot at all. I was not impressed with the food, the service, or the atmosphere. I will not be returning to Papa John’s.

The customer service here is amazing. Last week I ordered 2 pizzas, one of which didn’t have the pineapples I ordered on it. Not a big deal, once I noticed I just called to get a refund for the up charge. The man that answered the phone, I’m assuming the manager (unfortunately I didn’t get his name) immediately said he would remake both pizzas for free, either then or at a later time. I chose later & thanked him. Called back today, he said he remembered me & to give him 15 minutes to have the pizzas ready. He even brought them out to me when he noticed I was sitting in my car. Thank you so much once again!

I just want to give a shout out to good service after the fact. When I picked up some pizzas the other day, the store was struggling. It was the first Sunday of football season, and a friend who was picking up a pizza there had gotten a wrong order, and I was worried.
My order wasn’t ready on time, but it wasn’t a big deal. I waited. When the pizzas were done, they tried to give me someone else’s wings instead of a cookie. Turns out the cookie wasn’t made and I’d have to wait again. I didn’t want to, so I asked to remove it. That somehow charged me more because of full menu prices. The general manager, Matt, called me to make things right. The pizzas were great, too, and I went back to Papa Johns within a week. Thanks for the service. I’ll be back.

I had ordered pizza from the location on Georgia in Amarillo for delivery and door dash had assigned a driver who then cancelled it right when store was fixing to close. I wanna give a huge shout out to the General Manager of this location for personally delivering my order. Need more managers like that.

This Papa Johns Pizza always has great customer service and delicious hot fresh food. Even while having to wait the staff will start a friendly conversation. I usually go late at night and even if they are tired they are all working hard and making great food!

Horrible customer service. Food can be ready and sitting on the warmer and they will make you wait until they’re done putting labels on boxes(even though they have a few already labeled). Then, you get this kind of food. Absolutely the worst Papa John’s out of the entire city. I’d go with the one on bell if they’d deliver to me.
Update: called Papa John’s customer complaint line that day and filed a complaint. Store manager has yet to call me back. When she was supposed to call me back within 48 hours. Have never received the call back on any times of call the complaint about this store. The manager simply does not care about customer service or store quality.
Edit: app initially tells you what one cost is going to be but does not alert you to the charges of any additions or anything even though the deal says it’s one price. So then when you do everything and take the time selecting stuff you come to find out it’s going to be well above which you expected to be. Pizza Hut doesn’t have this issue. Their app actually lets you know what the price increase is going to be and how much extra is going to cost. I would suggest going with Pizza Hut and leaving Papa John’s behind

I had a very bad experience with the other store on Bell St. I pre-ordered a pizza on line for later time. I went to pick up at requested time, I got it home and it was ice cold. I called the store and spoke to the manager and I explained to him the problem. He was very rude when he said since I ordered online there was nothing he could do about it. I was flaming hot unlike the pizza. I then called the store on Georgia being outside of my delivery address and asked the manager there was that the truth the other store manager told me,he said no. Not only did he offer to replace my pizza,he gave us a free dessert and a coupon for our next order. He was very nice and helpful. From this point on, this will be my store no matter what! That is how you do business, making sure your customer is satisfied! Thank you Matthew for everything!

Doordash order. I ordered 2 NY style 16″ pizzas. One was Tuscan 6 cheese and the other meats pizza with extra sauce. Pizza was hot when delivered and made to order. They didn’t skimp on the topping of the meat and did add extra sauce. Peppers, chili flakes and garlic sauce was included in the box. I loved the taste of both pizzas. My roommate thought the meat wasn’t flavorful enough bit I think it was perfect.

The call center got our order wrong. The store got our order wrong. And the pizza was the worst I’ve ever had from Papa John’s.
A big corporation like papa John can afford to hire 1 extra person so they don’t have to send their calls to a call center. Really how much money do they need for there share holders.
Our pizza was terrible. The crust was dry and hard.
The associate who helped us was pleasant but frazzled.
I have alway liked papa John’s pizza. But this experience was very disappointing.

my order sat there for over an hour before you all figured out that doordash did not pick it up. would have been super nice to get a call… we didn’t get to eat dinner till after 8:30 at night.
