This restaurant is incredible and I had to drop a review. I came across the bridge to try it based on a recommendation from my followers. The customer service was incredible and the food was spectacular. The portions are very generous and the price isn’t bad. Easily a 10 out of 10 experience and will be returning back very soon. Very happy I finally tried this Gem in Phenix City.

Came here to say I have never had an issue with receiving my free plate or with anyone being rude. The atmosphere here is unlike any other. You can also ask the cashier if they mind checking the points when you start the order. I love this restaurant and the family who runs it are wonderful. 10/10 !

My husband and I stopped here on our way home from dropping his big truck off at the shop. I got the Kalua pork with cabbage Mac salad and two scoops of white rise every plate comes with. Honestly I thought it looked a bit plain and possibly dry.. But WOW what a surprise. The meat was moist and tender. It had a great flavor it was perfect. My husband got the teriyaki beef he said it was ok, so I tried a bite but got to say mine was better. If your down and around that area stop in a give them a try. Also the gentlemen that took our order was so polite so great service.

My darlin’ brought home a couple plates for dinner and the meat was . I got Kalua pig and short ribs and he got the shrimp….only thing that wasn’t great was the rice was a little toooo wet it was mushy hence the loss of the 1 star (this could have been a one off – the first time we went the rice was fine…. and if you’ve grown up on rice you know that it matters!). But the flavor of the meat was on point!!! Love the short ribs sauce, the shrimp was garlic buttery goodness and the Kailua pig was tasty. The things you take for granted living in Hawaii and having bbq plate lunch available all over the place….it’s so great to have a little taste of home in Phenix City.
P.s. I’m excited to eat my leftovers for lunch!

We came to this restaurant around 7:40 PM, even though their website says they close at 8:00 PM.
The woman working there was very rude and told us the kitchen was closing in 3 minutes, even though there was still plenty of time before closing.
It felt like she just wanted to leave early. The man seemed willing to serve us, but she clearly didn’t want to.
We decided to order takeout instead, but they only let us choose two items from the entire menu, saying those were the only ones available because the kitchen was closing. Honestly, the food was terrible – definitely not worth it. It was cold, poorly assembled, and looked like leftovers. It tasted so off that we couldn’t even finish it.
We drove 20 minutes just to get there, but the experience didn’t match what’s advertised online.
Since we were already there and the man was trying his best to help, we didn’t want to be rude and just leave. But the woman clearly didn’t care at all.
Really disappointing experience overall. If the restaurant closes earlier than 8, they should update their hours and treat customers with more respect. If they had just told us they couldn’t serve us, we would’ve gladly come back another time.
But to serve that kind of food and still charge for it
– never again.

The food was fresh and super delicious! I ordered the garlic shrimp and man was it amazing, its lightly fried and the sauce inside it also cooked to perfection, also me and my husband ordered the teriyaki spam musubi and he also ordered the loco moco fries with katsu. The music is low enough to enjoy but also low enough to be able to converse. The staff are very welcoming.

First time coming in. I saw them mentioned on Facebook and we immediately knew we had to go! Our son went to school in Hawaii and we all miss the great (authentic) Hawaiian food. We were NOT disappointed! We were greeted immediately when we came in.

The vibe is so relaxing with the island music playing in the background. It’s decorated in the island theme (obviously).

We ordered Chicken Katsu, Kahlua Pork, Teriyaki Chicken and Spam Musibi. Of course we got the mac and rice (with extra mac to go and some spam musibi). Food came out pretty quickly. It was HOT and FRESH. They have the Hawaiian Sun drinks as well, included the popular POG!!

The food definitely tastes authentic. The portions are perfect! We did do the combo plates (well worth it). My husband and I shared one (definitely enough for 2) and our son ate one by himself (he’s an athlete that can eat for 4).

We will definitely be semi regulars (we live 45 minutes away). Whenever we’re in the area for shopping, we’ll be in!

I recently hosted an event at Kalani‘s Hawaiian Style Cafe and it was amazing. The food, atmosphere, and service all were 5++ ⭐️ star. Kalani actually stayed late to help accommodate my group. If you haven’t tried this place, you need to!!!

Food is amazing, everything is good doesn’t matter what you order. Everything is made fresh to order. I followed them and ate at the food truck before they opened here. Phenix City finally gets a restaurant worth going to. There is 2 sections for seating and eating area.

Food 5 stars- order the chicken combo meal if you are unsure.

Service- they treat you like family and they are genuinely friendly.

Atmosphere- nice spot to have lunch or dinner. Quick for to go orders.
