Me and my wife have been waiting to go here for the last three weeks and we finally got to…… they were closed the last two times we tried to eat here we were really excited about it and we were both let down the waitress was nice at first but didn’t really want to do anything as the service went on when she asked how the steak was my wife said it was okay and I was very hesitant about telling her that it wasn’t the best that I’ve ever had and that’s were it went down hill she made some very rude comments and I said I definitely wouldn’t be back I wish I could have remembered her name so I could let the manager know how rude she was and that she needs to fix her attitude if I could I would give it zero stars

Mel’s diner has been in business for 24 years it’s family ran by mama… two daughters and Daddy’s retired but still works there amazing food.. amazing company .. overall just a good experience highly recommend… so friendly. food salad bar.. was well priced and amazing tasting….ty we will be back

The food is always good, the service is not that good. And it’s not the servers but the kitchen. I have eaten there many times and if the party is more then four people, someone won’t get their food with the rest or one person gets their food ten minutes before the rest of the table.

Not really an experience I would personally repeat. Our waitress asked how we liked our steak and when my husband responded honestly that he had better she told him he should just order chicken strips next time. If you can’t handle constructive criticism then you don’t need to have a restaurant. I wish I could remember her name, fix the attitude. Do better.

We had another large family gathering and the staff was very accommodating again. The food and service was excellent as usual. Steak was terrific and salad bar was well stocked with plenty of options! Definitely recommend and will be back soon!
