Lovely coffee shop with pastries, soups and sandwiches. I ordered their bacon egg and cheese croissant. Which hit the a lot. The croissant was super fresh and flakey and the bacon was nicely smoked. Coffee I ordered a chai which was delicious and spicy. Some chai’s lack the spices. Overall, a Great place to go to read or bring your laptop to work or just relax and enjoy the vibe. Service was great. Didn’t take long to get my order. Check this place out!

A nice little coffee shop/cafe. It’s a perfect little building, very aesthetic inside and out. There is a moderate amount of seating, and a little bit outside on the sidewalk. They offer some baked goods/pastries alongside the coffee options. Got a drip coffee and it was solid, not incredible. There’s a little street parking across the road, but there was not too much traffic so I think that you won’t have to worry about parking.
Overall I recommend this place if you’re in the area, staff seemed nice and personable, which is super important in my opinion. I can’t vouch for their espresso drinks.

Mondays Adventures
We were in town for Prepper Camp and decided to do something different on Sunday. Wakey Monkey was a great choice. The coffee was tasty and the sandwiches we chose really tasted great! I went with the PBT – pimento cheese, bacon and tomato jam on a croissant. This was the first time I have had a combo like that and it was amazing! The cafe was a little small but packed with a lot of character… especially the window seat feature.

Wakey Monkey has the kindest owners. I had some packages that were misdelivered to their door instead of my home – they brought them inside from the rain and held them for me until I could get there. Also, their homemade breakfast and lunch is always delicious! We are so lucky to have this sweet little café in our town.

Cute local spot that is family owned. Fresh made sandwiches and baked goods with good coffee. The atmosphere is incredibly relaxing and comfortable. The hardest part is leaving with only 1 sweet treat! Definitely recommend.

I love this place and owner Haley makes the BEST cinnamon buns. Very little sugar in the actual bun, but plenty of cinnamon! Served warm with a side of glaze so you can have as much or as little sweet as you’d like. The coffee (I drink mine black) is very good, from local Pisgah Roasters. Haley makes other pastries, too, so I will definitely be back! Very laid back casual comfy atmosphere.

So I’m giving my review based on a consumer, as well as one of the local artists. This establishment is one of the best I have ever come across. I would highly suggest supporting local vs chain. Wayyyy better quality and service.
The couple that owns it is so sweet and is definitely there to help the artist grow.

This is apparently a new addition to the Main street of Saluda. It is adorable. Everything is fresh and the place is incredibly clean. We enjoyed sausage fritatas along with a chocolate chip muffin and a croissant. The coffee was also really good. The staff is super friendly and I could see that they already have a few regulars.
