About – Alma Bistro
Alma Bistro, Cocina Latina was founded out of a deep love for real food, for food that is fresh, healthy, and authentically latino.

First visit and already planning our return. The braised short rib with kale was melt-in-your-mouth good. The chicken chacha-cha with a fresh pico-style topping was . Croquettes were perfectly crispy, gambas were on point, and every dish hit. We finished with the dulce de leche lava cake, which was absolutely delicious and the perfect ending Solid Latin bistro highly recommend

Enjoyed lunch! Everything we ordered came out tasty and delicious. Especially loved the octopus special, birria tacos, and yuca fries. The brussel sprouts and artichokes were also delicious. Guac and chips are a must to start with.

My wife and I just returned from an early dinner at Alma Bistro, and we are totally satisfied! The place is clean and atmosphere is Latin. The service was very good, our server, was very polite and prompt. The food was very good! We started with an order of Baja Fish Tacos, which we have had before on takeout, and for which we really came back. The fish was crunchy, my requirement for a fish taco, and we’ll cooked. They were garnished with cilantro, parsley, radishes & Chipotle aioli. We also tried Sea Bass a la planche and a side of arroz Moro. The fish was delicious! It was cooked perfectly and served over olive oil and covered in capers, roasted cherry tomato halves, chopped artichokes. I definitely recommend. The rice and beans dish was good also, it was fresh and light. Everything was well seasoned. We will definitely go back!

Great restaurant, incredible service. The manager made our visit extra special, bringing me a specialty mocktail and comping our dessert. We ordered a second serving of the beef empanadas – so good!! Will be coming back.

Food has really wonderful flavors and a nice variety on the menu. The atmosphere is lively without being too noisy. The service was exceptional. We had the tuna tostadas which was really generous portions, pork belly rice, which was really flavorful, and the brussels sprouts which also are very good. The Seabass was cooked perfectly and really flavorful as well. We will definitely be back.

We hadn’t been before but stopped in as we were going to a store in the area. Fantastic food! My son has had almost every chicken finger between Greenwich and Fairfield and said these were 10/5. Fries were super crispy and homemade chicken fingers. My wife had the duck Confit flat bread special which she liked and my Almas nachos were delicious with steak on them. Great value and great service.

Came to Norwalk for a concert and found such a good place to eat. The food, service, and drinks were incredible. We came here on a saturday night and I’m still shocked that there weren’t more people eating. Everything came out so quick. We had the tuna tostada, empanadas, birria tacos and churros. We had multiple people checking in on us while we ate and drank. They were very attentive and kind. The bartender talked us through the menu and gave so many recommendations. If we didn’t live over an hour away, we’d be here all the time.

We learned Alma Bistro was the newest spot in Norwalk for Latin food, so we had to come make a visit! It’s so beautiful inside – we had visited the former business in this space and were really impressed with the remodel that Alma Bistro has done. The cocktails were gorgeous, and the food was all delicious! Really flavorful guacamole, and one of our favorite dishes was the tuna tostada, which we were also told is a customer favorite. I really loved their churros too! Friendly staff, especially the bartender. This spot is definitely worth checking out, and they offer brunch too!

We enjoyed a fabulous meal at Alma Bistro. We started with the Gambas con Chorizo, which featured a delicious garlic sauce, some little fried balls, flavorful chorizo, and perfectly cooked shrimp. We also tried the fried artichoke appetizer, which was very tasty. We split the swordfish special with cilantro rice—a fantastic dish! The swordfish was incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and all of the components added to the overall experience. For dessert, we had the passion fruit panna cotta, which was refreshing and delicious—one of the best panna cottas I’ve ever had. Definitely worth a trip to try out!

Delicious food items. Yucca fries came with a chipotle aoli which was fantastic. I ordered shrimp ceviche, it was fresh with even ratios, and had their salad which came with a cilantro jalapeño vinaigrette that was so refreshing. It wasn’t truly spicy rather the flavor came forward.
