I was in town for work and I was craving some exceptional Italian food. I reached out to some of the locals and they all pointed me to Amore Italian Restaurant. I’m so glad they did. I had a party of 5 and we were not disappointed at all. Our server Alex never allowed my beverage to get below half full. The manager Sarah greeted us and complemented Alex’s spectacular service. We started off with appetizers – Stuffed Mushrooms & Fried Ravoli – both were exceptional. After some back and forth banter I was able to pick The Tour of Italy (fettuccine Alfredo, Chicken Parmesan, and Lasagna) All winners and so much food I took most of it home. If you are looking for Olive Garden’s pre-made , reheated trash You’ve come to the wrong place. There was a lot of love and pride put into each tasty morsel! Rolls were definitely fresh and another winner! I even splurged and got the Limoncello cake. Perfect for a light palette pleasing treat. Pricing was very reasonable – especially for the amount of food you get for your buck! Kudos to Andy and Sarah and the rest of the staff for really knocking it out of the park!

I was impressed! The burrata appetizer & ravioli (which I usually don’t like) was incredible . I got the Lobster ravioli but asked if I could have the cream truffle sauce that comes on the portebello ravioli instead . They were more than happy to do it & it was the star of the show. Best ravioli I’ve ever had! My friend had the seafood pasta & while I wasn’t a fan of the sauce bc I don’t like hot sauce in my pasta sauce, she loved it. Our server was amazing & took great care of us. We will def be back & highly recommend this place.

Me and my husband went to Amore for the first time tonight and we had the best time. The bread reminded me of an Italian place we have gone to in Hattiesburg before. They were all super friendly and the prices were lower than other places nearby and there was no wait and it was quiet and very laid back. We started with the fried ravioli I had the pasta sampler and my husband had the tour of Italy and everything was delicious.

My wife and I had an AMAZING dinner last night. The complimentary bread was fantastic. Sarah went above and beyond with everything from describing the menu to us to giving us the most delicious dessert I’ve had in a long time. Beyond grateful we decided to give this place a chance. You should too. You won’t be disappointed

Very pleasantly surprised, not a big place, but an awesome meal. Even the bread was wonderful, my wife had the baked ziti, and I had the Chicken Martini which was one of the posted specials. The service was fantastic, they treated us like family. The dessert we had was the limoncello cake and it was a great way to end our meal. It was our first time there, but we will be back. We made our second visit, I, my wife, and my daughter. Once again, it was awesome. Our server was Sarah, she’s absolutely one of the very best servers that I have ever been around, and I spent 42 years in the food and beverage industry. She makes us feel as if we are truly guests. My wife had the manicotti, I had the tour of Italy, and my daughter had the Alfredo. All of the meals were very good. For dessert we shared the tiramisu and the chocolate cake, both were rich and tasty. We hope to visit again soon.

I’ve not written a review in a long time but let me keep it to the point.
This is a hidden gem in the world of Italian restaurants!
Food is superior and the atmosphere is a homey, welcoming vibe, not uncomfortably fancy. **SARAH is the best server in Mississippi **
Homemade bread is on the house and it is the bread I’ve ever had.
You are treated like family and many patrons are called by name which let’s you know they are regulars.
Trust me, it is that good!

We had the most delightful lunch and Sarah was fabulous! The food was out of this world and the atmosphere was the best. The homemade bread rolls were soft and served with olive oil. We had fresh vegetables that were that were cooked perfectly still with a crunch. Lets not forget the pasta!!
Sarah had us finish off our meal with Tiramisu, the best I’ve ever had.
If you have never been to Amore Italian Restaurant you are really missing out on the true taste of Italy!.

The pasta is fresh and delicious, the tomato sauce is perfectly balanced, the mozzarella is high quality, the desserts are excellent, particularly the limoncello cake. The service is excellent, with attentive and knowledgeable staff. But, and I can’t stress this enough, the BREAD is possibly the best thing there. I don’t know that I’ve ever eaten better bread. I know I won’t be able to eat much of my meal, but I don’t care. I know I look a little piggish as I scarf down 3-4 knots without even considering the others at my table, but I DONT CARE! It’s that good. They could charge whatever they wanted for it and I would pay. Don’t get it wrong, everything is really good, just the bread is on another level.
