Don’t bother with the menudo here.
The amount you get is very Small and only 1 size.
$7 for a small cup. The menudo was bitter and you can tell the meat was old. It wasn’t very nice. Also they dont give you any spoons forks or napkins.
It’s different but I honestly would not recommend this place to anyone.

I’m from mexico city, menudo’s land, around san antonio there are good places for menudo, and absolutely it is the worst that I ever try ever…. No flavor, 85% hominy 15 % meat, they make me wait for almost 40 minutes just for 1 small cup of hominy with a little bit of menudo…. Bad product terrible service. Do not waist your time if you want menudo…. Go somewhere else, o matter witch one. Any other place will be infinity times bether than this place ….

First off its pricey. We got the La Casa Special #1 and a Dozen Pork Tamales and it was about $40. But not gonna lie. Its worth every penny. The Barbacoa is All Meat. The Tamales are Delicious. I couldn’t stop eating them. The Green Salsa goes great with everything. But besides the price being high. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this place.

Good choices/selection for barbacoa. The outside storefront blends in to the rest of the building but the inside is nicely decorated. Friendly atmosphere because the greet you upon walking in plus you get tasty beans with the order. Not much waiting for your order because the staff knows how to help expedite you order. Definitely will go back.

This place serves up phenomenal barbacoa. Came in this morning to try upon passing and I’m sure glad I did. The people working were so warm and welcoming. They offered a sample of their spicy barbacoa and it was delicious!! For a first time anywhere I wasn’t sure what to expect. The all meat was lean flavorful and moist and the spicy was perfectly seasoned and flavor packed.

Greatest Barbacoa & Menudo! They staff are very nice and fill the orders quickly. They have a variety of hot sauces….beans….tamales….corn & flour tortillas….great for a Sunday breakfast!
