Overall my experience was a pleasant one. I was sat quickly and service getting my drink order was slow but I was alone and I think they didnt notice I was sat by hostess. I had roast beef poboy which was ok, but I appreciate it was slow cooked and not deli sliced in gravy. It was good and I wouldnt mind trying something else when I come back.

The food was positively outstanding, however, the service was awful. We received our salad after our entree, and our appetizer came without plates. The server did eventually give us plates for it, though, kind of as an afterthought. Not once did she offer to refill our drinks, and only once did she check on us to see how things were. Her attitude was definitely off, and she handed stuff to me, or put them on the table opposite where we were seated, and slid them towards us. We asked for more napkins and she gave us exactly two – one more paper napkin each. If the food hadn’t been spectacular, I would have left, but it was so well-seasoned and cooked to perfection. I don’t know if I want to return. I definitely do for the food, but I don’t want to be treated like a bother. The server definitely needs a lot more training.

This place is extremely loud. Parking is horrible. The burgers are good but over priced and over hyped. If you get a burger and baked potato get an extra plate because it won’t be able to be eaten on the single dish- there’s no room. I got a cheese burger and loaded baked potato including mushrooms but the mushrooms were cooked in vinegar. Not a good idea. I have had better and as good of burgers at other places. Service was fast considering the place was packed.

My last visit I got a hamburger with blue cheese which was very good, it came with a baked potato. The quality of the meat was very impressive. It is not a fancy place but they do serve great hamburgers. The restaurant has a small separate bar in the front of the building. They offer a variety of dishes on their menu.

Love it. It’s a go-to for locals. TV, nice bar and sports bar tables or restaurant style with separate dining. I usually sit at the bar and get average service. The food is fantastic. Hot honey buffalo chicken on a bun with fries, hamburger comes with a baked potato, and shrimp and catfish platter with fries. A little expensive but worth it. Make sure you ask the prices of wine before you go paying $15 for an average glass. Highly recommend the place of course I drink Miller lite. LOL

Not at all bad, but a bit impersonal. The dip was good, the tea as well. Perhaps its just Louisana during a football game.

Best burgers in New Orleans.
All are fresh and cooked to order which is a rare feat. The fried mushrooms and artichokes are simply incredible, but all the sides are super yummy–the grilled asparagus is a favorite. Surprisingly, the grilled chicken sandwich is perhaps one of the better ones around–large and moist. For a great nautical/beach drink, try the massive (or smaller) “Life Jacket” (on the rocks is best), and it comes with a huge cup with the crest and logo of the restaurant on it!
My only gripe is that the stamped concrete floors could use a coverup. Luxury vinyl light-colored wood-like flooring would make the restaurant more comfortable and nudge it to be that little bit nicer, which would go a long way. Not to mention the less dense flooring would be easier on the staff’s feet and knees!
A refresh & update was recently done that was much needed, but the iron gray paint choice is a little unfortunate–light color makes spaces feel clean and open, so an off-white, cream, or straight-up white would brighten it up and make the space bigger and feel cleaner. Just make sure you use high gloss for easy cleanability.
But at the end of the day, the burger, which is the heart of the house, is top-notch and what you should be there for.
Last but not least, the restaurant always has great staff who are friendly and do a great job!

Not much decor involved here. However, it is a typical eatery. We had the boiled shrimp with a side of potatoes and corn on the cob which was far better than some of the other similar restaurants we have eaten at. Also had their hot sausage po-boy
which seemed to be a homemade sausage pattie that was very tasty that came on what was a french bread roll. Kudos to them for providing far better quality food. Service was great as well.

The food is really good and there’s a great selection. They’ll even accommodate you if you want to tweak one of their menu items. We come here because their Buffalo Wings are the closest we can find to the original at the Anchor Bar in Buffalo, NY. Plus, the burgers are the BEST!
