Delicious! We visited this lovely cafe today and had some of the absolute BEST food we have had in some time. Melissa’s Hot Brown was some of the best I have ever had and the chicken noodle soup was perfect on this cold, rainy day. Our waitress was friendly and provided great service. I strongly recommend this awesome little restaurant.

Fantastic little cafe! Nothing fancy, just good cooking and Southern charm. Service is prompt, food is delicious, atmosphere is welcoming. You can tell the place is well liked because they are packed in a Monday night! But even then we didn’t have to wait but five minutes for a table. Definitely recommend!

This quaint cafe is everything a small town Southern restaurant should be. The food was excellent, with generous portions and a great selection. The wait staff was attentive, and the husband and wife owners both introduced themselves to us during our single visit. Even though we were full from our dinner, we couldn’t resist the most extensive dessert selection we’ve ever seen. The mocha crumb cake is fabulous, though you may want to split it with a friend because it’s rich. But it’s SO GOOD.

I had the Philly cheese steak special and it was absolutely amazing. Our server was on point and humorous. I can’t think of a time that I’ve had a more incredibly satisfying and delicious sandwich. I believe we went in around 2 in the afternoon. There was maybe one other table there great music playing in the background and after we finished an employee came out and asked if we would like some to-go cups to take our drinks. It was a very kind gesture I didn’t feel as though they were trying to push us out the door and there aren’t many restaurants that will offer that.

It has has limited seating but it is a wonderful place to eat. I had the chicken salad and fruit plate. It was fresh and more than I could eat. Pie was good too. My waitress was friendly and was always there when you need here. I would definitely recommend.

Melissa’s is always a great place for lunch or dinner. Tonight I tried the Chicken and Broccoli Hot Brown. It was delicious. I also had their Tomato Florentine Soup, and it was good. The tomato was not over powering. No dessert tonight…too full. Our server was awesome, very accommodating.
