For the most part it’s a typical, small-town bar. It is much larger than you would think. There’s also a cute little patio area out back.
I had an olive burger and fries. The burger was good and very very messy. Lol. It was a bit small, but that’s perfect for me. The fries were blah. They’re just typical frozen fries. The ranch for dipping the fries was pretty good.
He had the hot hamburger sandwich. He said it was very good but he could’ve used a bit less gravy (as he cleaned the plate). The gravy was obviously from a mix, but I like that kind, so not complaining. He said the potatoes were real, though. I ordered Dr. Pepper and I got root beer (and not a good root beer). Whatever. Nbd.
That being said, it took nearly an HOUR to get our food. (2 Burger patties, fries, mashed potatoes, gravy, olive sauce, bread/bun.) There was only one other table of 5-6 people in there and one guy at the bar.
The decor theme seemed to be “polyurethaned OSB”. The lights over the bar were cute.
All in all, it was ok. Nothing horrible, nothing great. I wouldn’t be opposed to going back, but also probably wouldn’t go out of my way to.

Good atmosphere, food was NOT good. Slow service (I suspect the kitchen) and portions were skimpy for the price. Not necessary for me to visit again.

Ordered onion rings as a starter they arrived cold sent them back. The second order arrived cold and were sent back. The third order arrived cold and we asked to have them removed from the table and our bill. Main course was luke warm. The Uptown Grill has started to slip down hill. Sad to see this happen the food quality and service are on the slippery slope downward. It is no longer quality place of yester years Sad to see this happen

Ate there last night & the food was horrible! My hot Turkey sandwich meal had long,black hairs deep in it & the mashed potatoes. The shrimp in the shrimp basket was so over fried, you couldn’t even bite into it. And the waitress kept bringing tartar sauce instead of cocktail sauce. The chicken tenders were raw on the inside, but the fried batter made them look good. We eat about 3 bites each, boxed everything up to not look rude & threw it ALL away at home. A waste of $48. NEVER going back!!!

Bartender greeted us suggested drinks i ordered a cherry coke which was horrible, vodka cranberry was horrible tasting we left the drinks we spent 9 bucks for on the table and we left, bartender claimed she was busy with a total of 6 people lol, also it took 25 min for 2 drinks we had to go up for and she decided to make them, gross do better

We ordered a pizza and the service was fast, and the food was hot and tasty.
This is a small town bar with its own quirky character. It is clean and comfortable.
Be careful going in the side door. The door opens out and is opposite direction you would expect in conjunction with the deck steps. I believe the front door is an accessible entrance.

We stopped in for dinner with 3 kids while passing through town. We unknowingly came in 20 minutes before close. The staff insisted we stay and provided excellent service to us and a few others who did the same. The food was fantastic. The wet burrito & pizza was excellent. We’ll be stopping in again in the future.
