I moved up to RI two years ago and I used to love the Chinese spots where I grew up in Houston. Well I can say this blows every Chinese spot I’ve been to in RI out of the water.
My only complaint would be the bean curd didn’t have black mushrooms as it said online, I imagine it might be hard to get ingredients like that out here so I’m not pressed about it. The interior is fine if I compare it to Providence’s Chinese spots – clean, just a bit cramped, IMO it’s comfortable to wait for your food but if you’re looking for the sit down restaurant vibe this wouldn’t be it. The Yu Hsiang sauce is absolutely delicious- not as vinegary as I thought it would be based on their description, it’s more there just balance out the sweet chili sauce vibe it has, with yummy garlic flavor to boot. Probably gonna order it again on my way home to make my fiancee try it haha

A little hole in the wall Chinese restaurant that has very limited seating inside, so much so that I wouldn’t really consider it dine in, and just take out.
The food has been, for the most part, really good. The moo shi I tried once was very salty, and occasionally the lo mein just feels very under seasoned. Aside from those two minor issues, we’ve always had a good experience here.
The parking can get kind of sketchy, mainly because there’s no designated parking spaces and if some folks just park stupid, it blocks a lot of the available space.
I can’t speak for any kind of bathroom here, as I’ve never used it. But I do know I couldn’t get in the front door with my wheelchair if I needed too.
All that being said, the food is still tasty, the portions are big, and the prices aren’t insane. For those reasons alone, we keep coming back.

This place is definitely more of a takeout spot, but it’s totally worth it if you’re craving Chinese food. The Chicken Lo Mein was delicious, and paired perfectly with their hot oil. Definitely recommend giving it a try!
As for the Szechuan Chicken, it wasn’t spicy at all, and honestly, it was more like a Kung Pao chicken than anything else. Not quite what I expected and wouldn’t recommend it.

The food was decent enough. Upon arrival however, it was extremely packed inside. I had placed my order about 2 hours prior to picking it up. There were at least 12 people in line waiting to get their food when I arrived. Luckily, my order was ready, but we felt extreme sympathy for the poor teenage looking young lady, who was the only working employee besides the owner, who was there, and she was doing all the cooking. I can’t imagine the stress she was under that night. We tipped well that night. I know it is a family business there. Our food was fresh and still hot when we opened it, although it appeared it was hastily thrown into “to go” containers. But, it was tasty and it is the typical American Chinese meals where you scarf it down but you’re some how still hungry like a few hours later. And, this is now the only Chinese joint in town, so I’m sure they are quite busy a lot. They used to deliver, but don’t anymore.

I have no idea how this place rated this high in stars. Ate there two days in a row because I was there for business and the food was under seasoned, mushy vegetables, burnt chicken almost inedible!

I live in CT and was ònly here for the weekend, food was ok we didn’t like the egg rolls they were the size of spring rolls and didn’t have much flavor. They were also over priced but there’s not much for take out in the area so I guess they could get away with it.

Mostly a takeout place. You can dine in but very limited seating. Food is good, service is great! Love the hot and sour soup and the extra specials they offer.
