When in doubt it’s biscuits & sausage gravy for me. Add a side of bacon. Finish strong with a Connie’s cinnamon roll. Everything was served as it should be hot, fresh and timely. I pieced my order affordably together A la Cart. Admittedly, I’m ready to for a nap. I love a nice hometown greasy spoon restaurant The other partons were friendly and kind. The bits and pieces of conversation that I caught were typical rural topics. If I closed my eyes talk of church, Trump and food seem to transport me 1200 miles east to my hometown in Indiana. I am glad I stopped.

Rude on the phone, didn’t even get my to-go order correct, as I wanted bacon AND sausage for my children. Completely ignored my request and upon getting our food the pancakes are the only good tasting food… Our biscuits and gravy are flavorless and doughy like they aren’t cooked all the way. I had to cover it in salt and pepper to get any flavor. Will never be back to spend a penny at this establishment.
Just found out the rude service I received is from their MANAGER!! BEWARE! The manager did not apologize and threw the voided receipt in my face. I’m absolutely shocked this place gets any customers.

I went to eat, was handed a menu, I ordered a sandwich and was told “that ain’t happening” the cook refused to make it. I looked to see if there was lunch and breakfast timelines, THERE IS NOT!! 1 menu and says “served all day on it” I left and told them I would never be back. And I’ll tell EVERYONE I KNOW ABOUT HOW HORRIBLE THIS PLACE IS.

Locally owned country restaurant with the usual hearty breakfast. The food was generous, good and inexpensive. Better than any chain breakfast place you can think of.
You might have a wait if they’re busy but that’s what you get with home cooking. It’s worth it!
