Fantastic Eve’s Adventures
I must tell you, this is the best donut I have ever tasted. I had the apple fritter donuts and my husband had the caramel donuts. Wow wow wow, the staff were nice, service was good and the donuts were amazing. All the staff, especially the male staff were always so happy and cheerful. I wish we have a happy donuts in England. When next we are in San Francisco, we will definitely return to get more donuts.

This is The Best donut shop in San Francisco. Better than Bob’s Donut…. Yes…. I said it. Go in the early morning when they are coming out of the oven. You will see they truly are The Best donuts. Very nice man and wife who own the place and work hard to make them.

First of of all, the food is great! Loved the coffee, and the donuts tasted freshly baked, plus the prices weren’t terrible either. Probably one of the best old fashioned donuts I’ve had!
Not to mention the service was terrific! The young lady who greeted us was very kind and attentive. She made sure that my coffee was made how I liked with just enough sweetness! Plus I wanted to note her pure generosity. My friend and I are visiting the city, and are staying at an AirBnb nearby, with no rental car. Our stay has been very rainy so far, and doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon, so we were hoping to find somewhere selling umbrellas within walking distance. Thankfully this place and a couple other stores are within walking distance from us. Unfortunately the store around the corner didn’t have any umbrellas left though.
When I arrived at this place though, I asked the lady behind the counter if she knew of anywhere else nearby that may have umbrellas. She did let us know about some places that might be selling them on the pier, and I thanked her for her suggestions. Right as we were walking out though, she went behind the counter and grabbed an umbrella to give to us! I don’t know if it was left behind or her personal one, but regardless I just really appreciated this gesture and figured it would nice to share!
When visiting new cities you never know who you’re going to run into, and some people aren’t always the kindest. This experience, though it may seem small, definitely added some positivity to our trip! Thank you for your wonderful service.

I stopped by Happy Donuts this morning and was immediately greeted by a friendly young man — it made me feel truly welcome. I ordered a ham & cheese croissant, and the sense of urgency in getting my order ready was impressive. The young man handed me my order, and a young lady assisted by giving me my donuts — both were polite and professional.
I enjoyed the ham and cheese croissant as well as the donuts with my cup of coffee. The service was top-notch, fast, and friendly. I highly recommend this location. It’s also conveniently located near the Muni and San Mateo County bus stops, making it a perfect stop for commuters.
