Unfortunately, this location is within a gas station, and it shares space with a Taco Corner business. There was no menu and the screens were turned off. I definitely would not visit this location again.

I went to dickeys craving some bbq pork ribs, I get there, and the lady had trouble hearing me with the music she had. Then she tells me there is no ribs. The main reason I had went, I had no choice but to get brisket. I get home and omg, the brisket was BLAND!! No flavor at all. NOTHING! The bbq they gave me helped a little. The portion was ok. The mac-cheese was ok too. The potato salad eh it’ll pass. Yeah, my first time going there and its going to be my last.

Dry as the desert! Every meat of my 3 meat plate was dry and terrible!
I ordered in the app and arrived 7 minutes after the pickup time, she hand even started the order. It’s not like she had a line as I was the only one. I order a side salad, it states states it contains romaine lettuce, iceberg lettuce, shredded carrots, and red cabbage. Look at the picture and see if you see anything other than cheese and lettuce. Maybe a dollar’s worth total! The brisket was drier than a Yankee’s roast beef! No juice. Very little smoke taste. I wouldn’t even call it barbecue?

This particular one was insdie a convince store. The guy working needs to work on manners. I’m not gone sugar coat it the guy working was Prejudice. Some of the ladies working the food stations where also and spoke only Spanish. You had one individual that was trying to do her actual job the correct way with the nonsense. The food was bland but the portions where nice size overall it’s not worth the hassle.

it’s not bad but not exactly great either for the price you’re paying, smoke flavor was completely lacking and very little seasoning on the brisket. if you don’t mind driving down to sheldon, tony’s bbq makes way better bbq for about the same price.

Awful, absolutely worst brisket sandwiches anywhere. Burnt, greasy brisket probably sat on the grill for 20 minutes saturated in grease before served. All 4 sandwiches exactly the same. Couldn’t flood it with enough sauce to take away the greasy burnt brisket, almost ashtray taste. Shame on you Dickey’s Barbecue Pit! This was at 5p, prime dinner time on a Saturday.

Should’ve listened to the reviews but figured I loved Dickey’s in Clear Lake so much, I’d try. Then I saw it was inside a travel stop and still figured the Dickey’s name wouldn’t be on bad food. Then I got three chopped brisket sandwiches. Burnt bread is not toasted bread and I didn’t know Dickey’s bbq could be dry. Do yourself a favor and go to Clear Lake’s Dickey’s. Best bbq for the money.
